Across the game, there are fifteen music discs for players to obtain. Some are looted, others dropped by mobs, and one is even crafted assuming you can survive the deep dark! Today we power up the old jukebox in our Minecraft 1.19 Music Disc Guide.

How to Obtain Music Discs

Music discs in Minecraft are obtained through a few different methods. Twelve come from mob drops, two are generated as exclusive chest loot, and the last is crafted using fragments found in the deep dark. When it comes to those dropped by mobs, many players find themselves killing monster after monster wondering just how rare music disc drops are, only to learn by complete chance that they are not rare at all. Music discs are a 100% drop from creepers, but only when they are killed by a skeleton or stray. This can be a little complicated to pull off naturally, but using pistons, a nametag, and cobblestone, you will have nearly every music disc Minecraft has to offer in no time at all. Playing Music Discs

Once you have all your favorite music discs, it is time to craft the jukebox! This music-playing block is made on a crafting table by creating a border of eight wooden planks with a single diamond in the middle.
