Smalland Nectar Guide: Locations, How to Get, & All Crafting Recipes
Publicado el por
In Smalland, Nectar is an absolute must-have resource that every player should gather often. This material allows the crafting of various food items, which can help prevent nourishment loss and keep you alive.
With that, here's how to get Nectar in Smalland, the best locations to get Nectar on the map, and all of the recipes that Nectar goes into.
Players can get Nectar early in the game and without the need to upgrade their axes or hatchets to higher-tier models, since the Wood Hatchet is strong enough to cut the plants needed to gather this material.
Once you have a Wood Hatchet (or a stronger tool), search for Poppies. Cutting down these plants will give you Nectar, along with other items like Petals.

Poppies are in abundance in the western portion of the map. You must find a fallen trunk above the river separating the center and western islands. Cross that natural bridge, and search for an NPC named Skadi.
The area around Skadi, particularly the northeastern part, has a good amount of Poppies you can cut down for Nectar. However, enemies are also in the area, such as bees and other insects.
It’s wise to deal with the enemies first before attempting to cut the Poppies with your axe or hatchet. Another option is to exit the world to the main menu and reload it with the “Peaceful Mode” setting activated.
An alternate location to get Nectar is by cutting the plants on the southern island. But these plants require you to have a stronger axe or hatchet than the Wood Hatchet. Using the Flint Axe should suffice in cutting down the plants in these parts. Learn how to get Flint in Smalland here.
