It’s time-consuming to run around Core Keeper’s map looking for items. Aside from spending hours exploring the game’s massive map, you can build a farm at your base. That way, you’ll have a steady supply of items ranging from Heart Berries to Wood. So, keep reading as we help you start an in-game farm with this Core Keeper farming guide.
From the beginning stages all the way to the end game, Core Keeper players can gain lot by farming in Core Keeper. Below are the materials required to craft the basic variants of the first tools you'll need for the job, the Wooden Hoe and the Watering Can.

Core Keeper Farming Basics
From the beginning stages all the way to the end game, Core Keeper players can gain lot by farming in Core Keeper. Below are the materials required to craft the basic variants of the first tools you'll need for the job, the Wooden Hoe and the Watering Can.
- Wooden Hoe: Combine 4x Wood at the Basic Workbench
- Watering Can: Combine 4x Copper Bar at the Basic Workbench
- Select and till the ground using the Hoe
- Plant the seed on the tilled soil
- Use the watering can on the planted seed
- Wait 10 real-life minutes for the plant to mature
- Occasionally, the plant will require re-watering as they grow
- Harvest the plant once it matures
What Can You Grow in Core Keeper?
The crops players can farm in Core Keeper are separated into three major categories: edible, inedible, and golden. Below is a full list of the game's plants across these categories:Edible
- Bloat Oat: Grown from planting a Bloat Oat Seed in Dirt, Turf, or Grass soil
- Bomb Pepper: Grown from planting a Bomb Pepper Seed in Dirt, Turf, or Grass soil
- Carrock: Grown from planting a Carrock Seed in Stone soil
- Glow Tulip: Grown from planting a Glow Tulip Seed in Dirt, Turf, or Grass soil
- Heart Berry: Grown from planting a Heart Berry Seed in Dirt, Turf, or Grass soil
- Mushroom: Grown in Fungal Grass soil (can grow without planting seeds, watering, or other farming efforts)
- Pewpaya: Grown from planting a Pewpaya Seed in Beach Sand soil
- Pinegrapple: Grown from planting a Pinegrapple Seed in Beach Sand soil
- Puffungi: Grown from planting a Puffungi Seed in Mold soil
Inedible
- Wood: Grown from planting a Root Seed in Dirt, Turf, or Grass soil
- Coral Wood: Grown from planting a Coral Seed in Beach Sand soil
- Fiber: Grown from planting a Grub Kapok Seed in Dirt, Turf, or Grass soil
Golden
Note: Only characters with the Expert Gardener skill have the chance to develop golden crop variants.- Golden Heart Berry: Grown from planting in Dirt, Turf, or Grass soil
- Golden Bomb Pepper: Grown from planting in Dirt, Turf, or Grass soil
- Golden Glow Tulip: Grown from planting in Dirt, Turf, or Grass soil
- Golden Bloat Oat: Grown from planting in Dirt, Turf, or Grass soil
- Golden Carrock: Grown from planting in Stone soil
- Golden Puffungi: Grown from planting in Mold soil
