ARK: Survival Evolved Kibble: An Overview

Like its real-world counterpart, the Kibble in ARK: Survival Evolved is a crafted food item primarily used to tame creatures quickly. Use the right type to minimize certain parameters during taming, resulting in additional bonus levels once the process completes. If done correctly, taming with Kibble translates into a stronger creature than its wild variant. Competitive players in PvP ARK: Survival Evolved servers can take advantage of this mechanic to min-max creature stats. Prior to the ARK: Homestead Update, players could craft Kibble from specific eggs. For example, crafting a Kibble to tame a Dodo requires a Dodo Egg. Although the process was reasonably straightforward, the materials required to craft the item made the system chaotic and cluttered. With the release of Version 2.1, developer Studio Wildcard reworked the Kibble system, introducing various quality-of-life (QoL) improvements.
