Once Human Base Designs Guide: 5 of the Best Places to Call Home
Publicado em por
Generally, building a base in Once Human is reasonably easy. After all, it only takes marking a territory, laying a foundation, and placing some structures to call your base a home. However, it often takes some thinking and design panache to create a worthy architectural marvel. So, here are the best base designs we've seen in Once Human to help you develop your ideal headquarters for both PvE and PvP!
Note that the base designs mentioned below can be used as frameworks rather than definitive blueprints (no pun intended). With a little modification, you can adapt them to your preferences with ease.
YouTube user Kiitarie created a homey retreat in the desolate world of Once Human. Although it doesn’t have turrets and other defensive options for PvP, the house is an ideal retreat for any weary Meta-Human in a PvE server.
Kiitarie was also kind to post the materials used to create the contemporary abode in her video, which are as follows:
Normally, each Once Human player has a finite region for their territory. However, what if you can combine multiple territories into one? That’s what YouTube user Potatozieo did with three other players to create a massive fort for PvP.
The design and placement of this base have been strategized to provide natural and artificial defenses. For starters, the giant headquarters is on a plateau, which means it’s challenging for other players to enter the compound without getting shot from afar (provided they can get near). Additionally, three rows of walls surround the compound, making it impossible for outsiders to jump over them.
Although it’s a massive defensive benefit, the fortress doesn’t allow the players inside the compound to shoot targets outside the area. The solution is the central command center that provides views from different angles, leaving relatively no blind spots.
One of the best base designs around for PvE servers in Once Human is this build by Azzel83. Situated atop a mountain cliff, this home has elements that blend nature and modern living into one comfy retreat.
Although the house focuses on relaxation instead of Meta-Human warfare, the property’s location allows it to have some natural defenses. In particular, since the house is located near a cliff, aggressors only have a few options to raid the area.
Players who wish to follow Azzel83’s exact location for this house can do so by traveling to the cliff at Broken Delta with coordinates 3273, -6420. This area is also easily accessible early in the game, seeing that it only requires players to be Level 17 to deal with this region’s hostiles.
Additionally, Azzel83 notes that this base requires 2,200x Sintered Brick and 1,200x Steel Ingot. The YouTube user also mentions that Once Human players are still free to modify the design to their liking, such as adding areas for workshops, gardens, and purification defenses.
Azzel83 also made a base for PvP, as showcased in one of his videos. The YouTube user is also kind to let his viewers know that this bunker requires 2,700x Sintered Brick and 600x Steel Ingot to complete.
Players can develop this base at the Red Sands region with coordinates 4,736x -2,182. Once built, it should be able to withstand the most challenging purifying cortex phases and human raiders.
For starters, multiple turrets greet any invader before they can enter the premises. Then, another turret waits inside if a Deviant or raider happens to get past the initial wave of automated firearms.
Inside, players have the flexibility to design the bunker based on their unique preferences. For instance, you can create rooms for your workstations and helpful deviations.
What does it feel like to be the proud owner of a massive mansion in Once Human? YouTube user and Once Human player Crow Gaming answers that question in this giant house.
This enormous abode is complete with an indoor pond, a luxurious bedroom, and a bathroom with a giant window overlooking Mother Nature. Players who wish to build this mansion at the same location as Crow Gaming's territory can do so by traveling to the Red Sands region with coordinates 5,739, -1,905.
Note that it takes mid- to late-game materials to complete this build, as some materials include concrete walls, premium wood ceilings, and marble foundations. Additionally, Meta-Humans must gather blueprints, formulas, or crafting recipes from exploring the map to place the luxurious items shown in the video.
Despite its time-consuming nature, completing the mansion can make a player feel like one of Rosetta Corporation's C-level executives.
