Minecraft Chorus Fruit Farming Guide: Locations, Automated Setups, Harvesting, & More
Publicado em por
Chorus fruit has many uses besides being an abundant food source in the End, making them a worthwhile investment for anyone’s farmland. So, today, we explore manual and automated methods of farming chorus fruit in our Minecraft chorus fruit farming guide.
Chorus flowers and fruit can be found in the End after defeating the ender dragon and going through the small portal to the outer islands. They are the tall tree-like structures made up of purple chorus plant blocks and chorus flower blocks. To tell them apart, the chorus flower blocks are the purple ones at the top of the chorus plant with a whitish petal pattern in the middle. The only items required to make a chorus fruit farm back in the overworld are end stone and chorus flowers, which are most easily gathered by shooting them down with a bow.
Manual Minecraft chorus fruit farms are very easy to build, requiring only the chorus flowers and end stone gathered in the previous step. First, place down one end stone in the desired location for the farm. Chorus plants do not need any light, only an abundance of upward space, so there are plenty of options, including underground. After doing so, count four blocks north, east, south, or west, and place another end stone on the fourth block while keeping the farm level. If done correctly, there should be a three-block gap between the two end stone. Each end stone will eventually have a full chorus plant on it, so repeat this as many times as desired until the farm is of your preferred size.
Once everything has been laid out, all that remains is placing a chorus flower on each end stone. As previously mentioned, they are the purple blocks with a whitish petal pattern in the middle that grows atop chorus plants and are most easily gathered by shooting them down with a bow.
When all the chorus flowers have been placed, about fifteen minutes will be needed before they reach maximum size. Bone meal can not speed it up. Once ready to harvest, shoot the chorus flowers down first before cutting the base of the chorus plant to obtain a full tree worth of chorus fruit. Chorus flowers will not fall with the rest of the chorus plant, which is why we recommend first shooting them down with a bow.
After that, simply replant the chorus flowers on the end stone and repeat until your chorus fruit chest is full.
Chorus fruit farms can be tricky to automate, but with the proper design and a little bit of time, it is still entirely possible. A small-scale automated AFK farm design that we recommend is by Gecko on YouTube. Above is a separate video by Shulkercraft that shows step-by-step exactly how to make it.
The design works perfectly, even as of Minecraft 1.21. However, it does require quite a few chorus flowers to keep online. Thankfully, Shulkercraft also has a video for a separate farm designed by Crimulus that specifically gathers chorus flowers.
Happy farming and enjoy the chorus fruit!
