As of the early stages of Hytale’s Early Access release, Mithril is the game’s rarest mineral. So, it’s no secret that players must farm this resource to craft high-level gear. But the question is, where can you find Mitrhil in Hytale? We’re here to help you in that regard as you continue reading this guide.

Where to Find Mithril in Hytale

There’s no question that Mithril can generally be found in endgame areas in Hytale. In particular, travel to volcano biomes and search for glowing white ores sticking out of floors and walls to farm Mithril. However, Mithril Ore nodes are still quite rare, which can result in hours of searching only to find a few units. So, consider asking online friends on a Hytale server for help to make search parties faster and yield better results. Remember, you can edit the maximum players in one server, and it’s even possible to let 99 other players join in on the hunt for Mithril Ore nodes. Apart from searching for the ore nodes, find and defeat the volcano island zone boss for a chance of acquiring some Mithril Ores, Ingots, and even some mid- to high-level equipment. However, Mithril isn’t a guaranteed drop from this fearsome foe, making it an unsuitable farming method. Some caves in the tundra biome may have some Mithril Ore nodes. However, this region generally has fewer nodes than the volcano island. With that, consider staying in the volcano biome until you’re positive that the region no longer has nodes to mine.

Mithril Ore & Ingot Uses & Crafting Recipes in Hytale

After completing each Mithril Ore farming run, it’s time to smelt it in a Furnace. Do so to create Mithril Ingot, which you can then use to craft various endgame weapons, armor, and tools. Remember, you must have Tier 3 versions of the Workbench, Blacksmith’s Anvil, and Armorer’s Workbench to craft Mithril-tier equipment.
