How to Craft an Alchemy Table in Windrose

Before you can start brewing a potion or two, you need an Alchemy Table. To unlock this recipe, you'll want to pick a Misty Orchid in the Coastal Jungle. They shouldn't be too hard to spot thanks to their glowing blue appearance. Once you've plucked it, you'll see that you can craft an Alchemy Table using the following

• Wood: 5
• Clay Pot: 2

Clay Pots themselves will require six pieces of Clay to craft at a Workbench. Again, this resource shouldn't be too hard to find either. You can happen upon a large, muddy deposit of rock on almost any island. So long as you have a Stone or Copper Pickaxe, you can harvest these spots for a heaping helping of Clay. Which is good, because you'll need lots of Clay for Alchemy. Once you've made an Alchemy Table, you'll see that one of the first things you can craft is Clay Bottles. These only require a single piece of Clay to make, but you'll need to combine a single Clay Bottle with a single Misty Orchid to create an Alchemical Base. And, as you can probably guess, an Alchemical Base is needed for almost all of the elixirs you can craft in Windrose. So, if you see a glowing blue orchid or a deposit of clay, make sure to collect it!

Windrose Potions & Elixirs (Effects, Ingredients, & Crafting Recipes)

In Windrose, the primary purpose of Alchemy is to keep yourself safe in combat. There are elixirs for healing, augmenting your damage, and resisting damage. Sure, you won't need elixirs for every scrape you get into, but they certainly make life a whole lot easier. Especially when you're trying to make the most out of a specific build. If you're ever going into a particularly dangerous challenge, such as a boss fight, you'll want to make sure you stock up on alchemical supplies. For almost all potions, there are Rare and Epic variants. Epic variants are Infused and, while they are more valuable, they don't augment the effect of their Rare versions. Instead, they simply double the effect's duration. An Elixir of Concentration, for example, gives a 30% increase to Critical Damage for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, an Infused Elixir of Concentration gives that same buff for 30 minutes. It's up to you to decide whether or not brewing the infused versions of Elixirs is worth it. While more time in a buffed state is useful, it would cost fewer resources to brew a handful of smaller, easier-to-craft Rare Elixirs for the exact same effect.
