How to Invite the Zoologist in Terraria?

Introduced in Patch 1.4.0.1, the Zoologist NPC will only move to your town or village if the following conditions are met:

• The Bestiary has at least 54 entries, and
• An empty, movable house exists

Note: A movable house consists of a light source, a comfort item, and a piece of furniture with a flat surface. The space should also be at least 3 tiles wide and 10 tiles high (excluding the ceiling, floor, and walls). Like other NPCs in Terraria, it’s possible to place the Zoologist in Shimmer. Doing so will change her appearance, but this alteration won’t affect her stats or sold items.

What Items Does the Zoologist Sell in Terraria?

Remember, various factors affect the prices of the items the Zoologist sells. One element is the NPC’s happiness, which is a hidden mechanic based on whether she likes her neighbors or not. With that, the Zoologist loves to be near the Witch Doctor and likes to have the Princess and the Golfer NPCs nearby. However, she dislikes the Angler and even hates the Arms Dealer.
