Where to Find the Farmer in Enshrouded

The Farmer in Enshrouded, named Emily Fray, waits inside the Ancient Vault – Farmer in the Springlands. Travel to this biome and activate the Springlands Ancient Spire near the Revelwood route, if you haven’t yet. Then, head northwest of the fast-travel tower to find the Ancient Vault. Rescuing Enshrouded’s Farmer is part of the “Growing Stronger Together” questline, unlocked after rescuing the Hunter. If her marker hasn’t appeared on the map, continue the Hunter’s quests and check your Journal. Alternatively, travel to the Ancient Vault – Farmer regardless of your current progression, and free the NPC from her sleeping chambers.

Ancient Vault – Farmer Walkthrough

Once inside, head straight into the hallway until you come across an intersection. Take the left path, and then jump across the lava room’s stone platforms. Climb the mesh on the far wall, and proceed into the corridor with electrified arcane traps. Dodge the bolts and press the button at the end to disable the traps, which also releases the first lock. Next, take the archway beside the first button. Here, cross the lava gap, and climb back to the upper level. Look at the ceiling to find rings to use with your Grappling Hook. Swing across the gap, and press the second button on the far side. Follow the path above the lava and climb the mesh surface leading to the roof. Once outside, circle the exterior until you find an open double door. Move forward and evade the spike trap, and press the third button. Return to the first floor, where the door leading to the Farmer should now be open. Interact with Emily’s glowing pod, unlocking her as a survivor you can summon at base. Do so with the Summoning Staff, and start taking on her quests or unlocking crafting recipes.

Enshrouded Farmer Quests

Emily’s quests often send you to fetch various items, unlocking recipes to craft items like the Kettle, the Almanac of Plants and Seedlings, and the Beehive Smoker. Later objectives expand into animal taming, allowing Flameborns to take advantage of sustainable farming operations at their bases.
