Valory, the Bard in Enshrouded, is a musically inclined survivor. Once recruited, this NPC expands your crafting options with instruments, comfort decorations, and character cosmetics. To rescue her, venture into Blackmire’s flooded ruins and solve a compact switch puzzle. Follow this guide to unlock her services and bring the comforts of home.

Where to Find the Bard in Enshrouded?

Valory is trapped in the Ancient Vault – Bard beneath the Sunken Ancient City in the Blackmire region. To begin the rescue, follow the Flame’s “Follow The Melody” quest after reaching Level 12 and completing “Flame Altar and Base Improvements I.” Otherwise, head to the vault in Blackmire to recruit the NPC.

Ancient Vault – Bard Walkthrough

Unlike other Ancient Vaults, the Bard’s location has reasonably straightforward unlocking mechanics. First, activate three switches scattered through the ruins around the central building. After pressing all three switches, return to the central building and pass through the now-open gates. Descend the stairs into the vault, and interact with the Bard’s sleeping chamber. Once awoken, summon her back at the base to start using her services.
