7 Days to Die Burnt Forest Biome Guide: How to Get the Biome Badge, Resources, Challenges, & More
Publicado em por
In 7 Days to Die, the Burnt Forest biome is a scarred landscape with whispers of war and past wildfires. Survivors who brave this desolate landscape are haunted by charred trees, smoldering embers, and the burning undead. However, this biome still holds importance to certain Navezgane explorers. If you're one of those players who wish to learn more about this biome, survive its dangers, and get the coveted Burnt Forest Badge, keep reading!
Also called the Dead Forest in 7 Days to Die, the Burnt Forest was once a vibrant ecosystem complete with wildlife and lush trees. However, the outbreak of the Third World War, including the aftermaths of subsequent wildfires, transformed the once beautiful woodland into a desolate area predominantly inhabited by Burnt Zombies.
Now, zombie apocalypse survivors in 7 Days to Die can find destroyed buildings, charred trees, and hazardous ember piles throughout the Burnt Forest. Nonetheless, this biome offers value to its explorers, thanks to its open landscapes and many points of interest (POIs).
Although resources can be plentiful, players must be cautious of the blistering heat. Failure to equip the proper protective gear or acquire the Burnt Forest Badge can lead to a swift and inevitable death in this biome.
For starters, smoke buildup can lead to suffocation, which eventually leads to damage. Additionally, the region's heat also results in damage over time for unprepared survivors, especially when the temperature rises further in the afternoon.
Also, in the 2.0 Update, the Burnt Forest, like other biomes, has a unique environmental storm called the Ember Storm. If it appears, ember and ash fly wildly in the air, and these elements can clip through walls, reducing environmental protection, such as hiding in houses, to near zero.

Thankfully, protection is available to those who want to brave the dangers that lie ahead in the Burnt Forest. For instance, consuming the Burnt Smoothie prevents suffocation while in this biome and grants the user a +10% running speed buff for 5 minutes.
The Burnt Forest biome in 7 Days to Die is a good region to farm various resources, particularly Stone, Coal Ore, and Clay. Survivors can also find Lead Ore, Iron Ore, and Potassium Nitrate nodes in this biome, albeit these gathering spots can be pretty challenging to spot as they blend well with their surroundings.
