Xenovader and Xenogard are two new Pals included in the Palworld Sakurajima Update. However, it's possible to roam the new island, and these Pals are nowhere to be found. So, here’s our guide to help you locate Xenovader and Xenogard in Palworld and how to catch them.

Where to Find Xenovader and Xenogard in Palworld?

Xenovader and Xenogard can only spawn and be caught during the new Meteorite Event in Palworld. This new event randomly occurs, but you’ll know its location in the Palpagos archipelago (the game’s map) through a meteor icon. Thankfully, the Meteorite Event in Palworld typically happens near your character. So, you don’t need to travel far to get the chance to find and catch Xenovader or Xenogard. However, the Pals spawning in Meteorite Events are random, which means Selyne may appear instead of Xenovader or Xenogard. Nonetheless, Selyne only spawns during a Meteorite Event on Sakurajima Island. So, the Xenovader and Xenogard will likely appear during the event if the instance isn’t at the new island. Note: Meteorite Events are also great for farming Meteorite Fragments in Palworld.

Defeating and Catching a Xenovader

Xenovaders are the typical spawns during Meteorite Events in Palworld. Defeating a Xenovader has a guaranteed chance of dropping a Meteorite Fragment, an ingredient to craft Meteor-class technologies and weapons, including the Xenogard Saddle and Meteor Launcher. The Xenovader is a Dark-type Pal, which means Dragon Pals and Dragon-type attacks do more harm to them than other elements. Some of the best Dragon-type Pals to bring and summon when dealing with Xenovaders include the following:

• Jetragon
• Jormuntide (and Jormuntide Ignis)
• Orserk
• Astegon
• Quivern
• Chillet

It’s also important to mention that Xenovaders spawn in groups. So, use attacks and weapons that can deal AoE damage, such as the Legendary Rocket Launcher. Additionally, throw the best Sphere class you have at weakened Xenovaders to catch them. The Legendary Pal Sphere you can craft at the Assembly Line II is excellent for this occasion. Note: Craft a Legendary Pal Sphere using 10x Paldium Fragment, 5x Refined Pal Metal Ingot, 3x Carbon Fiber, and 5x Cement.

Xenovader Stats & Work Suitability

• Element: Dark
• Partner Skill: Meteor Mania - While in the team, increases damage dealt to ores, and it's easier to obtain Meteorite Fragment.
• Drops: Meteorite Fragment
• Work Suitability: Lumbering Lv. 2 and Transporting Lv. 2

Defeating and Catching a Xenogard

Some might say that a Xenogard is the boss of the Xenovaders, as it can spawn during a Meteorite Event with a large on-screen health bar. Additionally, Xenogard spawns as a single entity, unlike a pack of Xenovaders. It’s important to mention that Xenogard is a Dragon-type Pal. So, bring and summon Ice-type Pals as you explore Palpagos in case a Xenogard decides to appear in one of the Meteorite Events. Here’s a quick list of great Ice Pals to include in your fight with a Xenogard:

• Frostallion
• Cryolinx
• Sweepa
• Sibelyx
• Penking
• Chillet

Like the Xenovader, don’t forget to throw a Legendary Pal Sphere when you weaken a Xenogard’s health to a critical level. That way, you have a higher-than-normal chance of capturing it instead of throwing a Pal Sphere while it's at full health. If you successfully capture a Xenovader, you can exploit its powerful abilities. For instance, this Pal can learn Beam Slicer, a level 50 Dragon-type attack with a 130 base power level. Xenovader can also learn Icicle Line at Level 30, a powerful Ice-type attack.

• Element: Dragon
• Partner Skill: Crater Enthusiast - Can be ridden. While in the team, it's easier to obtain Meteorite Fragment and Quartz.
• Drops: Meteorite Fragment and High Quality Pal Oil
