How Does Farming Work in Windrose?

Like other survival titles, Windrose demands certain requirements for players to take advantage of its farming system. With that, some seeds can be directly planted into the ground while others require seedbeds. Shrub and Banana Seeds are examples of ground plants. Smaller plants, such as Flax and Tomato, need seedbeds to grow. Craft a Seedbed using 5x Fertile Soil, a resource commonly found in Ancient Farms around the Foothills. It also means that players who are serious about farming in Windrose must first defeat the Coastal Jungle boss, Thomas Richards, before they can access the Foothills biome. Thankfully, the farming system in Windrose isn’t as intricate as other titles with sandbox and survival mechanics. In particular, pirate captains need only place the seed in the ground or seedbed and wait. It takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes in real time for a seed to mature into a harvestable plant. Note: Crops don’t stop growing even after logging out.
