Say goodbye to the days of tracking ancient tablets, as Soulmask 1.0 is about to arrive. This full release brings evolutions to the game in more ways than one, ranging from smarter tribesmen to complete overhauls of management systems. So, without further ado, let's dive into everything we know so far about the Soulmask 1.0 update, including its release date, new features, and more!
Soulmask Version 1.0, which also marks the game’s exit from Early Access, is set to release on April 10, 2026. Previously, its release date was scheduled for sometime in Q4 2025. According to the developers, this decision stems from “optimistic estimates of our development progress.” Despite this hold-up, it seems that the April 2026 release date for the game’s full release is set in stone.

Launch Event 1
To mark the arrival of 1.0, CampFire Studio has prepared some special launch events. The first of which can be claimed now, before update 1.0 is here! Log in now, and you can claim a Golden Lightbearer character appearance as well as a Feathered Wings sail skin. Don't worry — this first event is permanent, and you can claim these goodies at any time. These rewards will be given once you're finished with your character creation. To grab the Golden Lightbearer, access character appearances at a Mask Decor Table. Similarly, you can customize your sail at the Building Workshop.Launch Event 2
While the first event is permanent, the second, known as a Timed Multiplayer Frenzy, is limited. From April 10, 00:00 UTC to April 13, 4:00 UTC, all official PvE servers will give players the following multipliers:- EXP and Yield: 5x
- Taming, Hatching, Animal Growth, and Crop Growth Speed: 3x
- Max Load and Inventory Slots: 2x
What’s New in the Soulmask 1.0 Update? (Unofficial Patch Notes)
Revamped Game Guide
With Soulmask 1.0, this update reworks the game's early stages with a revamped game guide. A new chieftain stepping onto the pristine shores of the jungle for the first time will now have a path paved with detailed information for your journeys instead of a hunt of blind faith. This new, fully integrated game encyclopedia presents players with information about every material, crafting recipe, and brutal creature. Experienced players, on the other hand, can also appreciate this overhaul, as a single click now pinpoints resources directly on the terrain, significantly streamlining the grind.Mimicry Ascension
Players who are no longer content with merely borrowing strength can channel the powers of a true god with Mimicry Ascension. This evolution to the different player roles grants various survival skills, which are the following:- Abundance: Summons a spectral avatar that rains hell on enemies with volleys of arrows.
- Torch of Eternity: Shields allies while searing enemies with a massive sanctum.
- Shadow Walker: Camouflages and grants the user the ability to teleport.
- Tactical Guidance: Revive fallen companions from the brink of death.
Smarter Tribesmen AI
With Soulmask 1.0, the evolution of a chieftain’s tribe is no longer left to chance. The revamped tribesmen AI transforms workers from simple laborers into a living, breathing workforce. Veteran Soulmask players can appreciate this change as it transforms the meta with the Training Ground. Here, pass down elite talents from one tribesman to another to cultivate that legendary barbarian bloodline. The new Tribesmen Assignments system also diminishes the old meta of idle hands. Doing so lets your clan operate with ruthless efficiency.Tribe Management Update
The new Management Mode transforms seemingly ordinary players into logical masterminds. This upgrade helps beginners find their bearings in the game. As for veterans, this new interface helps create a centralized command center, providing a macro lens on every tribesman’s abilities and potential.New Game Modes
- Survival Mode: The default Classic Mode, providing players with the original Soulmask experience.
- Tribe Mode: A mode that centers on tribe growth, including tribesman management and automation.
- Warrior Mode: Made for the warrior chieftain, this mode is ideal for those who hunger for constant combat.
More New Features & Additions
Apart from what we've already covered, Soulmask 1.0 has plenty more in store for players, including the following:- Dispatching tribesmen to bring back resources for the tribe.
- Custom options, such as modifications to level limits, morale costs, and more.
- A smoother climbing experience.
- Saving a tribesman’s appearance, allowing chieftains to copy and paste looks from one villager to another.
- Tribesmen auto-equipping gear from Weapon Racks to defend the village from invaders.
- Exploration companions mimicking the player’s gathering actions for efficient harvesting.
- A complete building overhaul, which includes free rotation, auto-alignment, and more.
What's New in the Soulmask Shifting Sands DLC?
The Soulmask Shifting Sands DLC will launch alongside Soulmask 1.0, and will include the following new additions (and more!):- 4 New Masks (Horus Mask, Anubis Mask, Sobek Mask, Amun-Ra Mask)
- 6 New Bosses (3 Main Story, 3 Mechanical)
- 10+ New Ruins and Dungeons
- New Egyptian Open-World Map (As Large As the Base Game Map)
- Ability to Build Sky Bases (City-Building in the Sky)
- New Vessels (Small Wooden Boat, Medium-Sized Falcon-Class Airship)
- Custom Building on Ships (100+ Airship Parts, 6 Ship Weapons, Anti-Gravity Engine for Flying, Small Sand Skid to Skim, Decks, Gangways, Sails, Ballistas, Cannons)
- Ability to Bring Tribesmen Onto Ships
Cross-Map Play for PVE Servers
When Soulmask 1.0 arrives, PvE servers will support cross-map play. This means you can transfer a character and the progress bound to them from one map or server to another. At least for now, this won't be available for PvP servers due to balance concerns. The developers have said they will test cross-map play for PvP servers in the future. When it comes to cross-map play, there are no character level requirements. You can take your character at any point from one server to another. Levels transfer in full, which means that anything you've earned across the base game or its DLCs will travel with you. No need for level grinding all over again! This applies to the basic tech tree nodes you've unlocked. However, exclusive tech nodes work differently. Those exclusive to the Shifting Sands DLC, for example, must be unlocked on the Shifting Sands map and will only work on the Shifting Sands map. They won't work on the Cloud Mist Forest map.Cria o teu próprio servidor de
