Some Pals in Palworld are adorable. Some Pals are, well... not so much. One such fearsome-looking Palworld critter is the aptly named Menasting. This beastie might not be too cuddly, but it has plenty of ways to benefit your party and base. Our capture guide will tell you where to find Menasting, its breeding combinations, skills, and more.

Menasting Location in Palworld

If you were worried that Menasting might be one of the many rare and elusive Pals, you can rest easy. Once you're in the Dessicated Desert, you can reliably find a Menasting practically anywhere with little running around. However, you will have a much easier time finding this scorpion-looking monster at night. If you're interested in finding the Field Alpha Boss variant, it can be found in the Desiccated Mineshaft at coordinates 493, 79. This massive bug will be at level 44, so come with an adequately leveled party of Pals.

Hatching Menasting (Breeding Guide)

There's often more than one way to get your hands on a Pal in Palworld. If you don't fancy nighttime exploration in the desert, you can always gather Huge Dark Eggs and hope for a Menasting to pop out. These eggs spawn randomly across nearly every portion of the Palpagos Islands, but you will find them more often in late-game regions with higher-level Pals. If you do find some, these are all of the Pals that have a chance to hatch:

If you prefer to hedge your hatching bets, you can always use a Breeding Farm. This allows you to put two Pals together for a guaranteed outcome. Some Pals have more breeding options than others, and Menasting has a healthy handful of possible parents. Here are some breeding pairs that will give you a Menasting every time:

• Incineram & Relaxaurus Lux
• Mossanda & Paladius

With any of these pairs, you can breed as many Menasting as you want. Each offspring can have slightly different stats. This means you can create as many Menasting as you want until you get your perfect, preferred specimen.

How to Defeat and Capture Menasting in Palworld

You won't want to bring any Neutral or Electric-type Pals to fight a Menasting. As a dual Ground and Dark-type, it has a variety of moves that can put Pals with a type disadvantage into the dirt. Both ranged and melee weaponry should work well against a Menacing as long as you're making sure to dodge its attacks. However, ranged weaponry is often the king in Palworld, and that is the case here as well. The most important move to keep an eye out for is Menasting's exclusive skill: Jumping Stinger. This move has the Pal leap high into the sky before plunging toward its target with its massive tail. If you're hit by this, you'll be poisoned. The much weaker, but still irritating, attack Poison Blast can also leave you poisoned. Poison has no cure in Palworld and will just seep your life away for its duration. Make sure you have a Pal or some other way to heal yourself before taking on a challenging Menasting.
