In the video gaming world, there's no shortage of faithful horse companions. Palworld is no different. While there are many Pals that you can use as mounts who look nothing like horses, Palworld also offers one of the most magical horse-like critters around: Frostallion Noct. This dark-winged pegasus is perfect for any magical horse enthusiast, and our capture guide will tell you where to find it, its breeding combinations, skills, and more. Let's fly!

Frostallion Noct Location in Palworld

Sadly, Frostallion Noct does not appear as a wandering Pal anywhere across the Palpagos Islands. While this ruins any hope one might have of seeing a Frostallion Noct herd running free, it does mean we know exactly where to find one at all times. It spawns as an Alpha Field Boss at the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary near coordinates 528, -525. To get here, you'll need a swimming or flying mount Pal.  Also, keep in mind that this Frostallion Noct spawns at level 65, so come ready for a fight!

Hatching Frostallion Noct (Breeding Guide)

Now, maybe you aren't crazy about the idea of fighting a massive Field Alpha Boss just to get your magical unicorn Pal. Luckily, Frostallion Noct does have a chance of hatching from Huge Dark Eggs that you can find scattered around the Palpagos Islands. Unluckily, these wild eggs don't guarantee a Frostallion Noct. In fact, here is the list of all possible Pals to be found inside of Huge Dark Eggs:

• Menasting
• Lyleen Noct
• Shadowbeak
• Selyne
• Xenolord
• Necromus
• Bellanoir
• Bellanoir Libero

For many Pals, you can beat the random egg hatching odds by using a Breeding Farm. By combining two specific Pals, you can guarantee a certain outcome from the resulting egg. However, there are only two breeding pairs that will give you a Frostallion Noct every time:

• Frostallion Noct & Frostallion Noct
• Frostallion & Helzephyr

While this does mean you can use a Frostallion and Helzephyr to get your dark horse, these two Pals aren't particularly easier to obtain than the Field Alpha Boss of Frostallion Noct itself. Still! It's an option for breeding plenty of Frostallion Nocts yourself if you're after a specific set of stats.

How to Defeat and Capture Frostallion Noct in Palworld

If you've already fought a normal Frostallion, you can expect mostly the same from this fight. Of course, the biggest difference is element-typing. Frostallion Noct is a Dark Pal, which means you should bring Dragon Pals with strong Dragon-type moves. Any Neutral element Pal you have will be in danger of taking more damage, but, unfortunately, so will your Dragon Pals. Despite its Dark typing, Frostallion Noct still has access to some strong Ice-type moves by virtue of being a Frostallion. This means your biggest advantage against it can also be your biggest weakness. If you do bring Dragon Pals to this fight, make sure you bring some that are potentially higher than level 65. As for the moves Frostallion Noct unleashes, you should be fine so long as you follow the Palworld creed: dodge, dodge again, and shoot from a distance. The most dangerous move in Frostallion Noct's roster is its exclusive skill, Dark Wing. Similar to a normal Frostallion's Crystal Wing (another move that Frostallion Noct has access to), this will see the Pal light its wings with Dark energy. With its wings full, it will then race toward you, using its wings to slash the area. If you dodge out of the way, you're not in the clear yet. The end of this move dispels that amassed energy into Dark homing projectiles. Dodging may not be enough for this fight, so do your best to have armor that can withstand a few blows. Having some healing Pals in your party, such as Petallia, can be a huge help too.
