He later clarified that the team isn’t planning to spend a year developing a massive 1.1 update. With that, the Palworld 1.1 Update is going to be in an interesting position. After all, it’s most likely to build on Palworld’s existing systems with smaller additions and meaningful improvements as opposed to giving players another giant region or sweeping overhaul.

Palworld 1.1 Release Date Window

At the time of writing, there’s no confirmed official release date for Palworld 1.1.  Nonetheless, since Bucky highlighted that Palworld’s next update won’t take a full year, Version 1.1 will arrive sometime before July 10th, 2027, and may launch sometime in early 2027. For now, players should consequently be cautious about social media posts claiming specific launch windows - as we won't know more until the developers confirm! Potential New Features in Palworld 1.1

First, let’s talk about what’s not going to be included in the Palworld 1.1 Update, and that’s underwater content. Bucky strongly dismissed the idea that there will be any subaquatic content in the near or distant future. This system may receive additional attention, allowing builders to continue pushing Palworld’s current building mechanics to their limits. Additionally, Update 1.1 seems intended to focus on more manageable improvements rather than massive feature additions, such as a major level cap expansion. For now, that means new continents and other massive expansions should be treated as speculation.
