Minecraft Sulfur Cube Guide: Block Absorption, Breeding, & More
Veröffentlicht am von
Deep underground is a new mob perfect for minigames or simply looking cute. However, its home is filled with toxic gases, making it hard to get one without needing to puke! Today, we explore the new sulfur slime mob in our Minecraft sulfur cube guide.
Sulfur cubes are a passive slime mob exclusive to the sulfur caves biome. They are easily spotted among the warm red and yellow blocks of their home thanks to their very light yellow and nearly white coloring. When encountered, players will find that their behaviour mirrors that of their green and magma cousins, minus the usual hostilities. What makes sulfur cubes unique, however, is their ability to absorb any block a player gives them, visibly altering their appearance and placing the slime in an unmoving, damage-immune state.
Sulfur cubes can absorb a single block, either picked up from the ground or given directly to them by a player. Upon doing so, sulfur cubes enter a damage-immune state where players can hit them around like a ball. Where on the body the slime is hit determines the direction it will go, while the damage that would have otherwise been dealt determines the distance.
Additionally, the type of block absorbed adds modifiers to the sulfur cube’s ball-like state. Below, all confirmed modifiers have been listed.
Damaging a Minecraft sulfur cube that does not have a block absorbed causes it to split into two smaller sulfur cubes, like its green and magma cousins. However, these smaller sulfur cubes are uniquely capable of growing up. This allows sulfur cubes to be gradually duplicated over time.

Duplicating a Sulfur Cube
