There are nearly endless possibilities for customizing your appearance in Minecraft. But if you want just a bit of extra flair, you can always throw on a stylish cape. As longtime Minecraft enthusiasts know, Mojang loves to host special collab events that often give participating Minecrafters a new cape or two. Well, TwitchCon is on its way, and two new Minecraft capes will be up for grabs. So want to know how to get the Crafter Cape & Builder Cape in Minecraft? Here we'll cover everything we know so far!

How to Get the Minecraft Crafter Cape

TwitchCon, the enormous streaming celebration, will be held on May 30. As part of the event, Minecraft LIVE will be taking place! If you're attending TwitchCon, you'll have the opportunity to earn the exclusive Crafter Cape in all of its stylish, blocky glory. The main thing you need to do is collect three emerald stickers from various experiences around the event. You can head to any Swag Bag kiosk, grab an Inventory Ribbon lanyard, and stick your collected emeralds to it. How does one gather emeralds? There are two different methods: Attending Minecraft Sessions & Joining Minecraft Activities Like any good convention, there will be a variety of sit-in events to hear the latest and greatest Minecraft news. Additionally, there will be Minecraft activities where you can earn one of your required emerald stickers. These range from photo moments to gameplay stations and every challenge in between. Once you've finally assembled all of your stickers, you can redeem your lanyard at the Cape Trader in the Minecraft Village. They will provide you with a Cape Card and presto! You'll now have a Crafter Cape code to redeem on your Minecraft account.

How to Get the Minecraft Builder Cape

The Crafter Cape is very exclusive and only obtainable by attending TwitchCon Europe, which will be held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. But don't worry! There's still the Builder Cape, and it can be claimed by anyone anywhere in the world. Though for this cape, info is much, much lighter. All we know right now is that eager cape-receivers must tune in to the Minecraft Live on May 30 at 5:30 PM CEST. What else needs to be done is currently a mystery! Apparently, the exact steps for acquiring the Builder Cape will be revealed during the broadcast. While the Builder Cape might not look exactly like the more exclusive Crafter Cape, their designs are similar enough that any cape collector should be happy to add the Builder Cape to their collection.
