As for what the leviathan mob actually looks like, claims vary from colossal serpent-like entities to code unintentionally left in the game for the barnacle.

Is the Minecraft Leviathan Real?

Sadly, the answer is no. The Minecraft leviathan and the deep oceans it is said to spawn in are all a work of fiction bY WifiES. Bug report MC 373144 does not exist, Hummer5718 is a character voiced by Schpood, Arronax is a character voiced by JumperWho, and Wifies himself shares in the video description that it was all a fake story he wrote. Much like Herobrine, if something like this existed within Minecraft, it would have been found in the code long, long ago. While that answer may be disappointing, many amazing mods such as Ice and Fire serve as a great way to bring leviathan-like creatures to life on your server. Just be careful, as they are often quite deadly!

You Just Don’t Believe

A key factor to encountering the Leviathan in Wifies’ video is believing. Wifies and Hummer5718 showcase this by swimming to the bottom of a Minecraft ocean biome in hardcore mode with no potions and waiting out the breath timer. This does not work in seed 1252292051920 at X 19811 and Z 19953. Facing the ocean while standing at X 20000 and Z 20000 does not change the results either. The shape of the river is a coincidence.
