How to Unlock Memories in Hytale

Since Hytale procedurally generates each map, the location of the Forgotten Temple to unlock Memories is unique for each world seed. Nonetheless, this area should be immediately visible on the map by simply searching for the cross-shaped structure. Tip: Add a waypoint to the location of the Forgotten Temple on the map for the icon to appear on the compass. Travel to the Forgotten Temple, but don’t go in yet. Instead, gather the materials to craft a Crude Sword, as you’ll need it inside. In particular, craft the Crude Sword by accessing your inventory, highlighting the icon of the weapon, and using 2x Plant Fiber, 2x Stone Rubble, and 2x Wood. Once crafted, place it on one of the hotbar slots to equip it. Next, go inside the Forgotten Temple. Walk down the stairs on the left to see a stone golem guarding a portal. Use your newly crafted sword to deal with the enemy. Attack the stone golem while walking backwards to the small pond in the room. The stone golem won’t follow you while you’re in the water, allowing you to cheese this fight. Alternatively, hold the right mouse button and click the left mouse button to push your opponent, giving you some distance and time to recuperate slightly. But be warned, as this push-blocking move drains a significant amount of your stamina. Enter the portal after defeating the stone golem. Do so to enter the real Forgotten Temple. Here, walk to the Heart of Orbis statue and interact with it to unlock the Memories feature.

Now that it’s unlocked, simply look at the various creatures and entities throughout Hytale to record them. Then, return to the Heart of Orbis at the Forgotten Temple to save the Memories, allowing you to unlock rewards upon reaching specific milestones.
