Feel like plunging into the heat of battle this weekend? You're in luck! The Hell Let Loose: Vietnam open beta takes place this weekend, which means you and your friends can give the highly anticipated title a try, and we've got all the details down below including when it starts, when it ends, and how to sign up.
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam recently had a closed beta. To participate there, players had to sign up for the closed beta on the Hell Let Loose website. This time, however, it's an open beta, which means anyone with a PC can hop in (though you will need to sign up still)!
As an open beta, this weekend will, of course, be only a sample of what to expect from the full game. So far, the devs have confirmed that only a single map will be playable: the Thanh Hóa Bridge. This is a recreation of an actual battle site from the Vietnam War. This bridge was one of the most targeted structures during the American movement known as Operation Rolling Thunder. The in-game map features a massive river, dense foliage along the banks and in the surrounding area, and plenty of options for strategic battle.
On this map, you'll be dropped into massive fights for victory. 50v50 player matches with one team representing the US Armed Forces and the other representing the North Vietnamese Army. You'll be able to try out helicopters, patrol boats, tunnel building, and each of the six soldier types:

So when does the open beta go live? The action kicks off on May 29th at 5 AM EDT. And you'll be able to play all weekend long, as the beta will close on June 1st at 5 AM EDT. If you have a great time and can't wait for more, don't worry — the full game releases on June 18th, and you can preorder it now!How to Sign Up for Hell Let Loose: Vietnam Open Beta
While this is an open beta, you can access it by heading here to sign up. There, you'll have to link your Steam or Discord account to register. With that completed, you'll receive an email when the open beta goes live, and presto! You're a part of the open beta.
