Terraria Arc Surge Guide: How to Get, Drop Chance, & Stats
发布于 ,作者
Thanks to Terraria update 1.4.5.8, there's yet another new way to obliterate your enemies. A powerful new tool known as the Arc Surge allows you to bring a dark power from a galaxy far, far away to your Terraria world. No, it's not an official intergalactic crossover, but the unlimited power you'll wield while using an Arc Surge should feel very familiar. Here, we'll tell you exactly how to get an Arc Surge of your own, as well as outline its stats.
Before getting too excited about acquiring your own lightning-hurling Arc Surge, it's important to know that they're only obtainable in Hardmode and after you've defeated the Golem. Once you've done that, you need to wait for a Martian Madness event. Keeping with the intergalactic theme, an Arc Surge in Terraria is only obtainable when you destroy a Martian Saucer that appears during these events.
Plenty of Martian Saucers fly by during Martian Madness, but the Arc Surge has a minuscule 2% chance of dropping. This means you may have to complete multiple events before you finally get your hands on this weapon of mass destruction.
To get a Martian Madness event to take place, you need to let a Martian Probe scan you and fly away off-screen. This starts the event and brings the fury of Mars upon you. You won't see any probes spawning until you're near the outer two-thirds of your world. You'll also have much more success at being scanned by a probe if you head into the space layer of the world.
Finally, if you're waiting around too long and no probes appear, you can always craft and place a Water Candle. These cause all enemies in the area to have a 33% greater chance of spawning. This won't affect the spawn rate of Martian Saucers in the event itself, unfortunately.
