Fall is the third season in Stardew Valley, and it has 28 days like the other in-game seasons. Time is of the essence despite having the same number of days as Spring, Summer, and Winter. Remember, you can’t grow anything in Winter unless you have the Greenhouse.

Best Crops to Plant in Fall

As Winter looms on the horizon, the amount of crops you can plant in Fall decreases. In Summer, you could plant and harvest 13 types of crops exclusive to that season. But in Fall, that number reduces to 10. Nonetheless, it doesn’t mean you can’t take advantage of this season to earn a good profit. So, here are the best crops you can cultivate and collect during Fall in Stardew Valley.

Beets

Although not as profitable as other Fall crops, Beets can still help increase your return on investment (ROI). For starters, the shop at the Oasis sells these seeds for only 20 gold pieces per pack. So, you shouldn’t have problems purchasing many Beet Seeds in Year 1. Next, Beets have a growth period of six days with no regrowth period. Meaning you can harvest up to four mature Beet crops per tile if you start planting in Fall 1.
