Where to Find Sootseer in Palworld

Pal trainers can generally find Sootseer at the Sakurajima graveyard at night. It’s also possible to encounter Sootseer as an Alpha boss in some dungeons in Sakurajima.

Hatching a Sootseer

Aside from finding Sootseer in the wild, players can also attempt to hatch one from a Huge Dark Egg. Note that this egg variant can be quite rare, and Pal trainers might need to search between the crevices in cliffs to find one. Alternatively, try to breed a Sootseer in Palworld using the following combinations at the Breeding Center:

How to Defeat and Capture Sootseer

Combat against a Sootseer in Palworld is a reasonably straightforward affair. Pal trainers must bring Dragon- or Water-type Pals to battle Sootseer for effective attacks against the Pal’s Fire/Dark elemental type. Some excellent examples of Fire-type Pals to fight against Sootseer are Blazamut, Reptyro, and Jormuntide Ignis. As for Dragon Pals, some of your best options are Jormuntide Ignis, Orserk, and Jetragon.
