As you're working your way through the tower bosses of Palworld, eventually you'll fight Victor and Shadowbeak. This imposing pair can be a tricky fight, but one thing is certain: Shadowbeak is pretty cool. Luckily, you can catch a Shadowbeak of your own as you continue your Palworld adventure. If you do, you'll have a sturdy Dark-element Pal that can help as you progress toward the endgame. Shadowbeak Location in Palworld

Like most Palworld Pals, you can find Shadowbeak wandering carefree in the wild. However, Shadowbeak only spawns in a very specific location: the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary. This is a smaller island located in the far northeastern corner of the world (roughly coordinates 641, 648). To make sure you can actually reach the island, you'll need either a swimming or flying Pal mount. Once you're there, Shadowbeak are a somewhat rare spawn. Continue to roam the island, and you should find one before too long.

Hatching Shadowbeak (Breeding Guide)

As a Dark-element Pal, Shadowbeak naturally hatches from a Dark egg. Specifically, Huge Dark Eggs. These eggs can be found all over the world, but they won't guarantee a Shadowbeak when found in the wild. These are all of the Pals that can pop out of Huge Dark Eggs:

Of course, if you want a Shadowbeak, you likely don't want to be hunting for random eggs in the wild with a randomized outcome. So, if you still would rather try to create your own Shadowbeak with particular stats instead of wandering in the wilderness, you can use a Breeding Farm. Certain Pal combinations can give you a guaranteed Shadowbeak outcome. However, there are only two Pal combinations that can result in a guaranteed Shadowbeak:

• Shadowbeak & Shadowbeak
• Kitsun & Astegon

How to Defeat and Capture Shadowbeak

When you find a wild Shadowbeak in the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary, it will typically be anywhere from level 50 to level 55. Naturally, you'll want to be a similar level yourself before challenging the beastie to a fight. While you can ride this Pal as a mount once you've caught it, don't expect it to fly much during your fight. It will use its array of ranged moves while on the ground, but eventually it can charge you with its exclusive ability: Divine Disaster II. This will cause the Shadowbeak to charge toward you at high speeds while emitting a dangerous blast of heat-seeking Dark bolts.  As is the case with nearly every fight in Palworld, do your best to stay mobile and chip away at the Pal from a distance. As a Dark Pal, it will be weak to any Dragon-element abilities. Bring your best Dragon Pal(s) along for the fight, and you should be able to make speedy work of any similarly-leveled Shadowbeak.
