Abiotic Factor Symphonist Guide: How to Defeat, Loot Table, & More
Publicado em por
As Abiotic Factor players are well aware, the Facility is packed with dangerous monsters. Potentially one of the most jump-scare-happy beasts in Abiotic Factor is the Symphonist. This nightmare on legs can prove to be as challenging as it is unsettling, but we have all the info you need on how to beat it and what it drops right here.
First things first: the Symphonist is no pushover. This gangly spook can take tons of damage before it's defeated. Add in the fact that electrical weaponry has no effect on it, and you're looking at a long fight. Unless, of course, you know how the fight works.
This monster is actually blind. So, you might be able to slip past it if you're careful. However, its sensitive hearing makes it charge and swipe at any player it hears. Luckily, charging and swiping a massive, creepy hand to deal damage is about the only move a Symphonist has. So long as you stay mobile and out of reach, you should be fine. Occasionally, a landed hit from the Symphonist will cause it to pick up and throw players. This doesn't deal any damage, but if you're near ledges, you can take an unfortunate tumble.
The only other trick up the Symphonist's sleeve is its ability to create illusions of itself. When this happens, it will briefly stop attacking you. This makes it a good time to try to heal up or reposition yourself. However, if you haven't struck the real Symphonist while the illusions are around, it will charge at you. If you manage to hit the real one during this time, you'll blast it with a critical hit.
The best way to tell the real one apart from the others is to inflict the Symphonist with a lingering effect like burning. The burning animation will carry over when the illusions appear, making the real one stand out. However, the motion sensor on a set of Cascade Armor can also highlight the real Symphonist. Finally, due to its large health pool, damage-dealing weapons such as the Deatomizer or Rocket Launcher can make a Symphonist much easier to take down.
Maybe you like to be scared, maybe you like taking down monsters, or maybe you're after the Symphonist's specific drops. If you're looking for a Symphonist on purpose, there are a few places you can look.

Maestro Armor Set
With Organs and Porcelain Shards, you can craft pieces of Maestro armor. This armor set isn't the game's strongest, but it provides a unique (creepy) aesthetic, and having four pieces equipped gives you a slightly bigger jump. However, Maestro armor can be upgraded into the Shifu armor. Four pieces of this set grant you increased jumping power and a small, localized fog effect around your character. Finally, the Shifu armor can be upgraded into Kintsugi armor. This is the same as the Shifu armor smiply with a higher armor rating. Here are all of the Maestro pieces, how to craft them at a Crafting Bench, and how to get their upgraded forms:- Maestro Adornments
