Unlike other games, Enshrouded spells require mages to consider mana cost and spell charges. Both are finite resources and depleting the latter means you must craft another set of spell charges to use the spell again. The Best Spells in Enshrouded, Ranked

Most of the best spells in Enshrouded are the Eternal versions of the base spells. However, some exceptions apply. Additionally, you must unlock the Alchemist to access these spells. Otherwise, find them in chests around Embervale, albeit the spell charges often rarely appear.

The Eternal Ice Bolt lets Flameborn mages cast it as many times as they want, provided they have the mana to do so. It only has a 1-second cast time, allowing its caster to spam it in different combat situations. However, compared to the other spells in this list, the Eternal Ice Bolt still falls short in the damage department.

Not all spells in the game have to be offensive. One notable example of that thought is the Eternal Heal Channel, an excellent alternative to potions. This spell provides great healing, allowing Flameborns to survive longer in the Shroud, especially when dealing with strong enemies. But be aware that this spell has expensive crafting requirements. So, prepare to farm for its materials to ensure you have charges for tough fights. Tip: Play in an Enshrouded multiplayer server if you need help gathering the materials needed to craft this spell.

The Lightning Channel requires its caster to channel it for the spell to stay active continuously. Although it sounds dangerous, this spell can burn down an enemy's health faster than most Enshrouded spells. Hold the attack button with this spell, and watch as it deals about 20 damage per 0.3 seconds. Cast this spell while standing in a favorable position in a boss fight, and watch your foe's health go from full to zero fast.

Magic-built Flameborns shouldn’t fool themselves into thinking that this spell isn't helpful because of its low damage output. However, this particular spell is more practical in controlling groups of enemies than killing bosses. Once cast, the Eternal Light Burst hits all nearby enemies in a 360-degree radius. It may not kill most high-level enemies, but this spell's hit will give you time to reposition and strategize.

The upgraded version of the Acid Bite spell, the Eternal Acid Bite spell, can eat away at the health of many foes quickly. But be warned, its mana cost and cast time are expensive. The latter, in particular, requires casters to position themselves properly for the spell to hit. But once it does, watch your enemies' health bars start from full to half to nothing in a few moments.

One of the best spells in Enshrouded, and perhaps the most powerful, is the Shroud Meteor. Unlike other potent spells with the “Eternal” prefix, the Shroud Meteor gained its name by letting the caster call upon a meteor to damage foes. The giant meteor can hit up to five enemies in a radius and deals some serious damage. Despite being the most powerful spell, the Shroud Meteor must charge for 3.25 seconds. This casting period leaves you vulnerable, making this spell reasonably tricky to use in more intense fights, so it's good to mix it up with faster spells.
