Spellcasters in Terraria need the right tools to cast powerful offensive magic. However, mages need to get the ball rolling somewhere, and the Daybloom Staff is a great starting point. How to Get the Daybloom Staff in Terraria

Introduced in Version 1.4.5.7, the Daybloom Staff can be crafted in Terraria using the following materials: 3x Daybloom, 5x Gel, and 12x Wood. Since this mage weapon is an early-game choice, players don’t need to be near a crafting station to make it. Additionally, its crafting materials are fairly easy to find above ground. For starters, gather the Daybloom plant on the surface layer during the daytime, which is 4:30 AM to 7:29 PM (in-game time). As for the Gel, defeat any Slime enemy to get it. Finally, cut the trees using an axe or a chainsaw to gather Wood. Remember, use regular Wood, as using other types of lumber doesn’t classify as crafting materials for the Daybloom Staff.

Terraria Daybloom Staff Stats

Despite being a pre-Hardmode staff, the Daybloom Staff in Terraria is fairly powerful for new characters opting for the mage build. Swinging it fires multiple pellets in the direction of enemies. These projectiles disperse after 2.5 seconds. Currently, Daybloom is the weakest of the staves in Terraria 1.4.5.8. Nonetheless, the damage dealt and multiple projectiles are sufficiently powerful that this weapon may help carry some mages into the middle of pre-Hardmode before they decide to switch to a more powerful staff.
