How to Get Cake in Palworld

Some Pal trainers may get Cake in Palworld by defeating or capturing Lovanders. However, the drop rate is fairly low, which may even require a few hours of grinding before a player can get one unit of Cake. Alternatively, you can craft Cake in Palworld. But it’s still important to mention that this required item for breeding Pals needs some rare ingredients. In particular, the materials needed to make Cake are the following:

• 5x Flour
• 8x Red Berries
• 7x Milk
• 8x Egg
• 2x Honey

Red Berries are common resources in Palworld, and you can get them in many biomes. An abundance of Red Berries can even be seen in the Plateau of Beginnings. As for Flour, purchase it from a Wandering Merchant for 100 Gold. Alternatively, grow Wheat at a Wheat Plantation, then process 3x Wheat at the Mill to Produce 1x Flour. Even though Wheat is an ingredient, it has an expiration timer like most prepared foods. So, it's advisable to place Wheat in a Cooler Box when not in use. Next, farm Eggs by defeating or capturing Chikipis. Again, you can purchase this ingredient from a Wandering Merchant. But each Egg costs 50 Gold. Then there’s Honey, which you can farm by defeating or capturing specific Pals, particularly Warsect, Elizabee, Beegarde, and Cinnamoth. On the other hand, place a Beegarade in the Ranch at your base so this Pal can produce Honey. Finally, gather Milk by placing a Mozzarina at the Ranch. Alternatively, purchase Milk from the Wandering Merchant for 50 Gold per unit. Once you collect the ingredients, make the Cake at a Cooking Pot or any higher-level stove.

Using Cake in Palworld

Pals can directly consume a unit of Cake in Palworld to regain hunger or Sanity. Cake has a nutrition value of 656 and will recover 82 SAN for the Pal who consumed it. This item also expires, albeit it lasts longer than other food items, at 1,200 seconds or 20 minutes. However, it might be better to use Cake at the Breeding Center. Note that Pals in that building won't breed and produce an egg without this important food item. With Cake and the right Pal parents, it might even be possible to breed an Alpha Pal.
