Voyagers of Nera Base Building Guide: How to Build, Unlock Buildings, & More
Publicado el por
Voyagers of Nera offers a unique blend of creative freedom and structured design in its building system. Construct fully functional bases while unleashing your inner architect to help overcome environmental and aesthetic challenges. Here, you'll learn how to start your own sanctuary in the water-filled world of Voyagers of Nera so you can begin building your legacy.
The building mechanic in Voyagers of Nera exudes freedom, as players can place structures virtually anywhere on the map. However, some rules still apply. For instance, it’s impossible to overlap certain structures.
It also means players can build certain structures to reach locations otherwise known to be impossible to reach through normal means. For example, build stairs on a tall cliff to reach it without relying on the glider.
Still, the game is quite forgiving, allowing some visual elements to collide without significant restrictions. For example, you can place a Workbench near the edge of a wall, and allow part of the table to “clip” through the façade.
Despite the significant freedom in placing structures, the building system of Voyagers of Nera still has some limitations. In particular, the number of architectural masterpieces you can create in this game is fewer than in some other titles with survival elements, like Once Human and 7 Days to Die. The reason is that your base’s design significantly depends on pre-determined frames.
Three general frame designs are available in Voyagers of Nera: the Standard Frame, Hallway, and Annex. You can connect these frames in any way that you desire. However, it’s impossible to create base designs outside of these frameworks.
Place a frame, or any building element in Voyagers of Nera, to see a transparent blueprint of the structure. Note that said assembly isn’t complete until you provide the necessary ingredients. Delivering the required materials also completes the construction.
No building hammer or other tools are required to construct in Voyagers of Nera, so as soon as you have your resources, you're good!
Like unlocking weapons and other equipment, crafting recipes for buildings can be unlocked by leveling up and gaining Knowledge Points to use at the Knowledge Tree. However, some buildings in Voyagers of Nera, such as the Looking Pool and the Ancient Gate, the structure that unlocks the fast-travel feature, require rescuing the associated Guide Spirit first.
