Voyagers of Nera Sharpstone Farming Guide: Best Location & How to Get

Like Stone, you can gather Sharpstone once you have a pickaxe. Sharpstone forms in larger boulders, and a handful of whacks with your pickaxe will give you a healthy sample of craftable pieces.  Unlike Stone, Sharpstone boulders are a glossy, darker blackish-bluish hue. Also, unlike Stone, these boulders aren't as common in the game's opening area, The Embrace. While you can occasionally luck into a Sharpstone boulder as you adventure, one location with the highest concentration of Sharpstone is Crescent Isle. In the middle of the island, underneath a large stone archway, you'll find more deposits of Sharpstone than you'll know what to do with. The best part? You can access this area very early on. The worst part? Sharpstone is heavy. Your character can't carry too much of it without being overencumbered. The best way to transport Sharpstone off of Crescent Isle and back to your base is to build a Cargo Skiff. These handy little boats come with storage compartments. With them, you can head back and forth to haul plenty of Sharpstone back to your base to get crafting. While harvesting Sharpstone on Crescent Isle is fairly easy, keep in mind that an endangered Spirit is near the large deposit of Sharpstone. If you walk close enough to the Spirit, enemies will start spawning out of portals. These can get in the way of your Sharpstone collecting. However, if you dispatch all the enemies that appear and interact with the Spirit afterward, the area becomes much safer for regular Sharpstone acquisition.
