These trophies range from the incredibly easy, like spawning into the world for the first time, to what could take hundreds of hours to complete. Valheim 1.0 Achievements Guide: All Trophies & How to Get Them

Valheim 1.0 players can get a total of 53 achievements. 37 of these trophies are readily available, while 16 remain hidden until triggered.

I Have Arrived!

• Description: Enter the tenth world.
• How to Get: Spawn into the game for the first time after

The First of Many

• Description: Meet your end, then prepare to do it all again…
• How to Get: Die once. Any cause of death will trigger this achievement.

Eikthyr

• Description: Defeat the Lightning Stag
• How to Get: Summon and defeat the Eikthyr in the Meadows.

The Elder

• Description: Defeat the Living Forest.
• How to Get: Summon and defeat The Elder in the Black Forest.

Bonemass

• Description: Defeat the Writing Dead.
• How to Get: Summon and defeat Bonemass in the Swamp.

Moder

• Description: Defeat the Dragon Mother.
• How to Get: Summon and defeat Moder in the Mountains.

Yagluth

• Description: Defeat the Twisted Soul.
• How to Get: Summon and defeat Yagluth in the Plains.

The Seeker Queen

• Description: Defeat the Crawling Matriarch.
• How to Get: Defeat The Queen in the Mistlands.

Fader

• Description: Defeat the Emerald Flame.
• How to Get: Defeat Fader in the Ashlands.

Kall Fimbullbringer

• Description: Defeat the Shackled One.
• How to Get: Defeat Kall Fimbullbringer in the Deep North.

The Viking

• Description: Defeat all bosses on any difficulty.
• How to Get: Defeat every main boss in the game on any difficulty setting. All boss kills must be registered on the same character.

Odin is Pleased

• Description: Defeat all minibosses.
• How to Get: Track down and defeat every miniboss in Valheim.

Obliterated

• Description: You stood a bit too close.
• How to Get: Stand next to an Obliterator and die from a lightning strike.

Accidents Happen

• Description: Get killed by a tree.
• How to Get: Die from any falling tree.

That Can’t Be an Accident

• Description: Get killed by every kind of tree.
• How to Get: Die from every type of falling tree in Valheim.

Are You Alright?

• Description: Die in every way possible.
• How to Get: Experience every possible cause of death in Valheim, including environmental, combat, and special deaths.

The Lumberjack

• Description: Cut down 500 trees.
• How to Get: Cut down a total of 500 trees. Progress accumulates across all sessions.

The Cook

• Description: Cook 100 dishes.
• How to Get: Cook 100 food items. Any recipe prepared through cooking stations counts.

The Farmer

• Description: Harvest 500 crops.
• How to Get: Harvest 500 crops. Replanted and regrown crops count toward the total amount.

The Forager

• Description: Pick 250 berries and 250 mushrooms.
• How to Get: Collect 250 berries and 250 mushrooms. All valid berry and mushroom varieties contribute.

The Hunter

• Description: Kill every kind of creature.
• How to Get: Kill at least one of every creature type in Valheim. Defeating passive and hostile creatures counts toward this achievement’s completion.

The Master Hunter

• Description: Kill every kind of creature on hard difficulty.
• How to Get: Kill every creature type while playing on Hard difficulty. Set the appropriate difficulty before killing creatures for the targets to count toward this achievement’s completion.

The Trophy Collector

• Description: Collect all trophies.
• How to Get: Obtain all trophies in Valheim.

The Homesteader

• Description: Build a house.
• How to Get: Build a basic house with walls, a roof, and a bed. The structure must qualify as a sheltered home.

The Architect

• Description: Build a village.
• How to Get: Construct a large settlement containing multiple buildings. Expand beyond a single homestead.

The Beekeeper

• Description: Harvest 50 honey.
• How to Get: Harvest 50 Honey from beehives. Multiple hives can be used to speed up progress.

No Adventuring On An Empty Stomach

• Description: Eat 500 items of food.
• How to Get: Consume 500 food items. Any edible item counts.

The Tough Viking

• Description: Defeat all bosses on normal difficulty or higher.
• How to Get: Defeat every main boss on Normal difficulty or higher. Lower difficulty kills, including those in Hammer Mode, don’t count toward this achievement’s completion.

The Toughest Viking

• Description: Defeat all bosses on Hard difficulty.
• How to Get: Defeat every main boss on Hard difficulty.

The Survivor

• Description: Survive for 30 consecutive days.
• How to Get: Stay alive for 30 consecutive in-game days. Dying resets your progress.

Mighty Halls

• Description: Raise a very tall structure
• How to Get: Construct a significantly tall structure. Continue building upward until the height requirement is met.

Top Of The World

• Description: Build something very high up.
• How to Get: Place a build piece at an extremely high elevation.

Comfort is King

• Description: Reach a comfort level of 20.

The Legends Are True

• Description: Sail over the edge of the world.
• How to Get: Continue sailing to the edge of the world seed.

The Treasure Hunter

• Description: Discover 10 buried treasure chests.
• How to Get: Unearth 10 buried treasure chests. Use clues, treasure maps, and exploration to locate them.

No Time for Snoozing

• Description: Awaken a sea creature.
• How to Get: Wake a Serpent from its slumber. Encounter and aggro the creature while sailing.

The Explorer

• Description: Travel far in all four directions.
• How to Get: Travel a significant distance north, south, east, and west.

The Pathfinder

• Description: Travel far in all four directions, without using a map.
• How to Get: Complete the Explorer requirement, but with the map disabled.

The Chosen One

• Description: Assemble a Dyrnwyn.
• How to Get: Craft the Dyrnwyn sword.

The Blacksmith

• Description: Craft every kind of weapon.
• How to Get: Craft every weapon type available in Valheim.

The Master Chef

• Description: Cook every kind of dish.
• How to Get: Cook every food recipe in Valheim.

The Artisan

• Description: Craft every kind of item.
• How to Get: Craft every craftable item in Valheim.

The Gourmet

• Description: Eat every kind of edible item.
• How to Get: Eat every edible item in Valheim.

The Carpenter

• Description: Build everything.
• How to Get: Unlock all building recipes and construct them.

Kings and Queens of Valheim

• Description: Embody the spirits of the Viking, Hunter, Artisan, Master Chef, Carpenter, and the Explorer.
• How to Get: Earn The Viking, The Hunter, The Artisan, The Master Chef, The Carpenter, and The Explorer achievements. This achievement unlocks automatically afterward.

Child of Odin

• Description: Embody the spirits of the Toughest Viking, Master Hunter, Survivor, and Pathfinder.
• How to Get: Earn The Toughest Viking, The Master Hunter, The Survivor, and The Pathfinder achievements. Unlocks once all prerequisites are completed.

Stronger Together

• Description: Kill a boss together with a friend.
• How to Get: Defeat any boss together with an online friend in a Valheim server.

Lone Wolf

• Description: Kill a boss all by yourself.
• How to Get: Defeat a boss without assistance from other players.

A Catch Worthy of Njord

• Description: Catch a four-star fish.
• How to Get: Catch a 4-star fish. Higher-quality bait and fishing locations can improve your chances.

The Builder

• Description: Build 500 pieces.
• How to Get: Place 500 build pieces. Any valid construction piece counts.

The Sailor

• Description: Sail far enough to circle the world twice.
• How to Get: Sail a cumulative distance equal to circling the world twice. Progress carries across voyages.

The Captain

• Description: Sail far enough to circle the world while manning the helm.
• How to Get: Sail a full world-circling distance while personally steering the ship. Remaining at the helm is required.

The Fisherman

• Description: Catch every kind of fish.
• How to Get: Catch every species of fish in Valheim.
