Palworld Mimog Capture Guide: Locations, Breeding Combinations, Stats, Skills, & More
发布于 ,作者
Most RPG fans, tabletop or digital, are likely familiar with mimics. Nasty beasts that take on the appearance of treasure chests in the hopes that they can lure unsuspecting adventurers into their waiting stomachs. While Palworld doesn't have vicious mimics, it does have the pesky and adorable Mimog. These little treasure chest look-a-likes can be very useful, and here we'll tell you how to find them, their breeding combos, skills, and more.
The good news for finding a Mimog is that they can spawn nearly everywhere across the Palpagos Islands. The bad news is that there's no singular spot where you can guarantee to find one. While this might make hunting down a Mimog inconvenient, it does mean that you'll find one sooner or later, so long as you continue to explore the whole of Palworld.
Of course, stumbling upon a wild Mimog isn't the only way to, well, stumble upon a Mimog. You can also receive one from hatching a Large Common Egg. Like Mimogs, these eggs can be found nearly everywhere in the Palpagos Islands. However, you're not guaranteed to get a Mimog once the egg hatches. Here's a full list of the Pals you have a randomized chance of hatching from a Large Common Egg:
As you might be able to guess from its diminutive appearance, Mimog isn't the hardest Pal to defeat or capture in battle. At least, not because of its power. These little stinkers will try to run away from you when they're spotted, however. The best way to get any Mimog to stop running is to use stun-heavy weapons or abilities. Rocket Launchers and Shotguns work well, but they might be too strong for a Mimog. Couple them with a Ring of Mercy to prevent Pals you're attacking from going below a single point of HP, and you'll have a much easier time catching a Mimog.
However, you might not be interested in catching Mimogs. Perhaps you're hunting them down just for their highly valuable Dog Coins. These coins drop from captured or slain Mimog, and they allow you to trade with Medal Merchants for rare items. Yes, you can find Dog Coins in normal chests, supply drops, or salvaging junk piles. However, you'll get plenty more by catching or slaying large amounts of Mimogs. Keep in mind that there is no difference in how many Dog Coins you get when you capture or kill a Mimog.
Finally, before you start dreaming of printing your own money, you can't get Dog Coins from breeding Mimogs. The Medal Merchant economy would fall apart if that were possible!
