Farming Simulator 25 Base Maps

At the time of writing, Farming Simulator 25 has three base maps, which are:

• Riverbend Springs (North America)
• Hutan Pantai (East Asia)
• Zielonka (Central Europe)

Riverbend Springs

The Riverbend Springs is one of the core maps of Farming Simulator 25, and it presents farmers with vast waterways and different interactive buildings to utilize in their builds. It also includes docks, piers, and floating houses, giving players a new immersive area to become a part of. A farmer’s market and various small selling stands on this map help enhance the game's realism and community feel. Players will also find new structures and elements that fit this North American map, such as new fences and farmhouses. Circling back to the Farmer's market, it's one of the new features coming to Farming Simulator 25. Although we're unsure if this feature will be available on every map, it seems to at least be an important part of Riverbend Springs. Here, players can interact with shelves and selling stands for trading goods and increasing options for improving ROI. Riverbend Springs highlights its water-based elements while respecting the region’s rich farming and manufacturing history. Farmers will have many opportunities to delve into the map’s many historical sites, such as a grain silo, paper mill, and different aged brick constructions. Hutan Pantai

Farming Simulator 25 fans at the Tokyo Game Show 2024 got a sneak peek at the upcoming Hutan Pantai map. It’s also the first Farming Simulator map to showcase an East Asian region. The Hutan Pantai map captures the symbiotic relationship between rural landscapes and modern East Asian cities, integrating unique regional elements like elevated highways and traditional villages. According to an interview, GIANTS Software Associate Producer Horia Serban says this map’s design is inspired by Studio Ghibli films and vibrant city streets. The map honors the region's heritage with architectural designs and farming practices that blend tradition and modernization, creating an authentic and immersive cultural experience. Serban also mentions that extensive research is conducted to recreate specific areas in new maps authentically. Tasks are divided within the environment department to gather relevant information. Prototyping involves creating basic models to establish the map layout. Hutan Pantai's design focuses on symmetry and balances tradition with modernization. The map captures East Asia's essence by blending countryside charm with industrial progress, maintaining equilibrium between heritage and technology. Achieving balance between authenticity and performance in the complex city was a significant challenge for the developers. Designing the city-rural infrastructure was a major challenge, requiring meticulous planning. Adding tunnels added complexity. The functional and visually integrated infrastructure was a test of design and engineering skills. Zielonka

German YouTube channel Cornhub was able to interview Chaki, GIANTS Software’s community manager. In the discussion, fans learned that the third map to join the Farming Simulator 25 roster is Zielonka. Long-time fans know that this map has been in Farming Simulator 22 as a DLC. Set in a cozy village inspired by central European countries like Germany, Poland, and Czechia, this map boasts a vibrant community with amenities such as a playground, football field, and small businesses. The lush green landscape offers fertile farming opportunities and a serene lifestyle.
