What’s Coming in The Front 1.0.09?

Deck the lands with boughs of bullets in the latest update for The Front, 1.0.09, as the game celebrates its first Christmas event. The event runs from 12 AM December 24, 2023, to 12 AM January 4, 2024 (UTC). During this limited-time period, players can enjoy various holiday-themed features. For instance, during this event, standard loot boxes gain a new Christmas-themed skin. Additionally, approach snowmen to get a throwable Snowball from them. It’s also the season’s beatings for Santa Claus, as players have the chance to throw snowballs at him. Throw five snowballs at Santa to stun him. Doing so will also let him drop gift bags, which you can open to receive event-exclusive items, such as a Christmas tree blueprint. Aside from the Christmas event, The Front also receives new content from this patch. One notable addition is the new server labels. In particular, players can now favorite servers and look at previously joined servers in the new History tab.

Christmas Event Details

• All loot boxes in the map will appear as a special ‘Christmas gift’
• Most of the region will have a higher possibility of snowing
• There will be a snowman beside the road on the map, and you can get the throwable Snowball from it.
• Traders at the Rebel Camp will have Christmas event-related items: snowballs, Christmas trees, Christmas cake recipes, and Christmas pudding recipes.
• While looting on the map, Santa Claus will have a possibility to show up around your character. Using Snowball to hit him five times can stun him, and he will drop the gift bag. Opening the gift bag lets players get event-exclusive items, including a Christmas tree blueprint, various
• Christmas recipes, Christmas bells, Christmas socks, Christmas ribbons, stars, etc.
• Future supplies will have the possibility to give you Christmas clothes, Christmas sleeping bags, etc. Higher supply runs will increase the possibility of giving you Christmas items.
• Christmas Tree Blue Print: use it in the construction bench
• Christmas cake and pudding recipes: use them on the kitchen counter

Optimizations

• Lowered the imperial helicopter and tank NPC’s detection range and attack range
• While in the workbench’s interface, press B will not switch to the inventory interface but close the workbench interface directly

• Deleted Bite RES and combined it with the Phy RES

Bugs Fixed

• Place or demolish signs will no longer give character exp.
• "Woodpecker" AA Rocket Launcher cannot have a lock on the imperial helicopter
• "Infiltrator" Missile Launcher cannot lock on the imperial tank
• Imperial helicopters are hard to damage when they are close to walls
• Abnormal interface when you set the resolution under 5120*1440 in full-screen
• Some wrong effects under DX12 mode
• NPCs will get stuck in terrains and constructions during the supply receive
• Tungsten AP Shell causes too little damage to structures
• Sprinklers do not function properly while attached to large water tank
• Known stuck points on the map
• Need to restart the client to use the skin acquired from the drop boxes in the lobby
• The server list might show duplicated servers
• Wrong gaps might appear in doors and windows under low graphic settings
• Some wrong collision issues after demolishing the structure
