Palworld Mobile Release Date

At the time of writing, Krafton, particularly its subsidiary PUBG Studios, the South Korean game development studio responsible for creating games like PUBG: Battlegrounds, hasn’t announced a definitive release date for Palworld Mobile. However, fans can catch a glimpse of the upcoming handheld version at the G-Star 2025 gaming event in BEXCO at Busan, South Korea, from November 13 to 16. Nonetheless, the game's mobile version may be released sometime in 2026. After all, the year should align with the studio's other announced releases, including Palworld Version 1.0.

What to Expect From Palworld Mobile

Palworld Mobile is a reimagining of Palpagos Islands and its diverse environments into mobile platforms. It aims to captivate both new and veteran users with a captivating, portable experience that remains true to the spirit of the original.

Core Gameplay Preservation

Palworld Mobile should still faithfully adapt its core gameplay experience. So, mobile players should be able to capture, collect, raise, train, and fight with Pals. Additionally, crafting and open-world survival will still be present, allowing players to bring the Palworld experience relatively anywhere.

Optimized Mobile Controls

Introducing Palworld to the mobile market presents a new challenge for the developer, particularly in leveraging the touchscreen interface of a smartphone or tablet. Arguably, veteran players should still be able to take advantage of the Vanilla Palworld UI, albeit now they’re more attuned to touchscreen interactions. For instance, choosing a Pal may require the player to swipe left or right at the lower left side of the screen.

Strategic Battle

Krafton hints that Palworld Mobile will offer a "new gameplay experience through strategic battle." This statement suggests that the handheld-friendly version may require players to tactically utilize their Pal teams and skills in skill-based combat. On the other hand, it may also indicate that the core gameplay remains unchanged, requiring Pal trainers to consider various factors, such as Pal elements, during combat and exploration.

Non-Live Service Model

Palworld Mobile will follow its PC and console counterparts by not having live service models. In other words, players can purchase the game's mobile version using a one-time fee: no paid subscriptions attached.
