The launch of Abiotic Factor Update 1.0 brought many new features into the facility. One notable new location is the Torii portal, a home world that allows players some respite from battling the horrors of the facility. Here, you’ll learn the location of the Torii world in Abiotic Factor and uncover its secret.

Where is the Location of the Torii Portal World in Abiotic Factor

Unlike other portal worlds in Abiotic Factor, players can find Torii relatively early in the game. In particular, you can find it at Server Room 01 in the Office Sector of the GATE Cascade Research Facility. Its location is in the hallway to the left of Warren, the security guard NPC, in the enclosed booth next to the charging station. Note that a Tier 1 locked door stops you from entering the Torii portal entrance. So, equip the Keypad Hacker (Tier 1) and unlock the door. If you don’t have this tool yet, craft it at the Crafting Bench using 1x Controller, 1x LCD Screen, and 1x Infrared Emitter.

Abiotic Factor Torii World Secret Solution

At its core, Torii is a safe haven for all Abiotic Factor players. Most portal worlds, including the Mycofields, aren't generally safe for players and their bases. On the other hand, Torii doesn't have hostile NPCs and is completely devoid of enemy raids. With that, a secret lies hidden within the walls of this Japanese-inspired portal world. If you’re a completionist, consider completing this puzzle to reap the reward. Start the puzzle by walking to the second bridge after the entrance. Here, press the button underneath the bridge. A sound plays indicating that this step is complete. Next, walk toward the pavilion with the bonfire. Behind it is a tree with a Tier 4 lock. Early-game visitors may have to wait until they progress further into the facility before unlocking this seal. If you have a Keypad Hacker (Tier 4) or higher, use it and proceed to the next step. Your next task is to find and interact with four lit lanterns throughout Torii. The locations of these structures are as follows: Return to the portal entrance. To the left of it is a small mountain. Climb it to find the first lantern. Walk to the western part of Torii to find a waterfall. Underneath it are two lanterns, but the one on the right is your target. The third lantern is at the end of a hidden path on the eastern part of this small map. The final lantern, a hanging variant, is behind the main central building near the bonfire. Once all lanterns are turned off, you must go fishing. In particular, catch a Portal Koi, the rare variant of the Portal Fish, which can only be caught with a Portal Fish Bait. Craft this special bait using 1x Raw Exor Heart and 2x Tomato. Thankfully, the Portal Koi can be caught in Torii, although some players may take a while to catch it. Note: Catching the Portal Koi can trigger the “Rare Catch” achievement in Abiotic Factor. Finally, travel to the Anterverse location Space Queen and get at least one Royal Coin. Do so by finding it in one of the 25 locations or butchering a Frigid Queenfish. Place the Royal Coin and the Portal Koi on the altar in the main central building in Torii to open the secret room. Follow the path and claim your prize – the Jizo Statue collectible. Note: If dropping the Portal Koi and Royal Fish into the altar doesn't open the secret passage, deactivate the lanterns again.
