Valheim has been extremely active since its massive 1.0 launch, with today marking two back-to-back updates within 24 hours! While Valheim 1.0.14 made some important performance improvements and added additional QoL features, the latest patch, Valheim 1.0.15, includes some significant gameplay adjustments in its relatively short patch notes that players will notice very quickly when deep within the Swamp biome or trying to farm armor molds in the Deep North. Valheim Update 1.0.15 Patch Notes (FULL)

While Valheim update 1.0.15 makes some important changes , it's a very short update relative to past Valheim patches. The biggest highlights, quite obviously, are buffs to the Writhan spawn rate and improvements to the drop rate for Deep North armor molds from Jotun Warriors, with both types of Jotun Warriors now dropping both Medium and Heavy Armor molds. • Fixed an issue that could cause terrain duplications, which resulted in a loss of performance
• Increased drop chance for Deep North Armor molds by making both Jotun Warrior types drop both medium and heavy armor molds
• Writhan spawn rate and areas increased
• Items affected by dev commands will no longer be marked for characters that have enabled the dev bypass command, naming has been updated, and items can now stack together again

This patch comes with the caveat that deployment may take a few days depending on your Valheim platform of choice. Despite the delays for the patch deployment on some platforms, the Valheim team has noted that any crossplay will still work between game versions with and without the patch. That means you won't need to worry about quarantining players who don't have the patch from any multiplayer worlds you're enjoying with them, even on a Valheim dedicated server.
