After months of building up hype, the Palworld Tides of Terraria update is finally here! This new version includes some awesome new features, including a new region, new Pals, and loads of Terraria-themed content! So, here's what we know about the Palworld v0.6: Tides of Terraria update.

Palworld Tides of Terraria Release Date

Palworld developer Pocketpair  released a trailer that contained information about the Tides of Terraria update, including this version's release date. Also called Version 0.6, this update would be released on June 25, 2025, and it should be available for the game's PC and console versions. You can watch the trailer below!

Official Patch Notes: New Content & Features Coming in the Palworld Tides of Terraria Update

Pocketpair started tossing hints about the new content and features in a post, saying that Palworld players will be able to “catch, train, fight, and work monsters from Terraria just like Pals…?” Now, with the release of the update, players have a clear idea of what to expect when they launch their Palworld clients.

New Region & Pals

The animated teaser shows a Pal trainer with a Cattiva and Foxparks exploring a cave. However, eagle-eyed fans of Terraria should notice that the cave has similarities to the Hallow biome. New Pals are introduced in this new region, according to a teaser video. Palworld players can see new Pals that resemble a squid, a small, Ice-type dinosaur, large, Grass-type birds, a jellyfish, and a large serpent, which seems to be one of the region’s Alpha boss encounters.

New Enemies & Bosses

An image in the previously mentioned post showed the Eye of Cthulhu, which can be seen in the trailer. Additionally, the clip flashed a quick photo of Terraria's final boss, the Moon Lord. Pal trainers can capture the Eye of Cthulhu, while the Moon Lord is a raid boss in Palworld. A short video was also posted on Palworld’s X account (formerly known as Twitter) that showcased a Pal trainer going up against a variety of slimes. Players can catch these new creatures and have their own slime army. However, the Terraria Pals you can capture don't have Paldex entries at the time of writing.

Fishing

Catching other Water-type Pals through fishing is now in Palworld, as seen in one of the latest images. Players can now craft rods and baits, and use them in various areas around the map to capture Water-themed Pals. It's also possible to use these items to salvage valuable items from underneath the ocean.

New Weapons & Armor

The image that highlights the Eye of Cthulhu also shows an adventurer wearing the Hallowed Armor set. That same character is also seen wielding the iconic Terra Blade, which is also the same sword found by the Pal trainer in the trailer. Another X post shows a Cattiva wielding the Terraprisma, albeit in a comically overpowered manner.
