Sunreach, also known as the Sky Islands, is a new region added in Palworld 1.0. While some might think that it’s easy to reach with a flying Pal, it’s more challenging than one might initially think. So, look no further, as we’ll teach you how to reach Sunreach through this guide.

How to Get to Sunreach in Palworld

Getting to Sunreach in Palword requires players to be at least Level 58, or sufficiently strong to defeat the Feybreak Tower boss, Bjorn & Bastigor. If you’ve defeated this dangerous duo, simply mount your flying Pal next to Feybreak Tower and land on the top. Doing so lets you access the top of the tower, which holds the portal to Sunreach. Note: Avoid riding your flying mount far from Feybreak Tower, or risk being shot down by anti-air missiles. Those who haven’t challenged Bjorn & Bastigor yet can do so by traveling to the southwestern area of Feybreak Island. Particularly, head to the coordinates -1294, -1669 to find Feybreak Tower.

What to Find in Sunreach (All Pals)

Upon reaching Sunreach, you’ll find various floating purple orbs. Interacting with these glowing spheres teleports you to a random location on the Sky Islands. On the other hand, you may interact with large pink buds, which shower you with powder that temporarily reduces the effects of gravity on your character while you’re in Sunreach. Alternatively, summon your preferred flying Pal, such as Jetragon, to traverse between the islands easily. Many new Pals introduced in Update 1.0 call the Sky Islands home, including Leafan. Here, you’ll also find various Alpha Pals, namely the following:

Remember, Sunreach isn’t an optional location, as it’s the next destination to progress through the game. At the center of this hovering archipelago is the next tower boss to defeat: Auri & Shaolong. It’s a fight with unique mechanics, unlike most tower boss fights in Palworld. For instance, Shaolong occasionally floods the entire arena, making it harder than usual to move and dodge its attacks. That means it’s an unsaid requisite to bring a fast swimming or flying Pal for this fight, or you’ll be face-tanking all attacks from Auri & Shaolong while standing on a small piece of land. Defeating Auri & Shaolong grants you loot, 5x Ancient Technology Point, and player and Pal XP. Additionally, beating this duo for the first time unlocks a new difficulty level, allowing Palworld server players to test their mettle against Palpagos Islands’s mightiest foes.
