Surviving fierce beasts and exploring a magical landscape might be the main focus of Enshrouded, but you'll need to gather plenty of resources to keep progressing through the game. One resource you'll want to collect for some furniture and an armor set is Straw. This handy stuff can help you out on your farm, give your home an ice touch, or give you an advantage when using a bow. How to Collect Straw in Enshrouded (Best Locations)

In Enshrouded, you won't be able to get your hands on Straw right away. First, you'll need to make sure your Flame Altar is upgraded to level three. With that done, you can head to the Nomad Highlands biome where you can find some Straw scattered around. There are a few spots in the Plains with more Straw than others. There's a small cottage, for example, called Bounty Farm with plenty of Straw in its old, abandoned patch of farmland. You can find this directly to the south of the Ancient Spire - Nomad Highlands. Here, you can gather up a healthy helping of straw. You can also find bundles of Straw in chests, on tables, or growing in the ground. Running around and picking it up is a great way to get some Straw in a pinch, but the best option is to start a small patch of Straw for farming back at your base. For that, you'll also need to collect some Wheat Grains, which are often found next to straw out in the highlands. With Wheat Grains, you can speak with the Farmer, craft a Seed Bed, and plop it down wherever you like at your base. Normally, you only need Water for your plants to grow. However, you can cut growth time significantly by using Fertilized Farm Soil made with Nitrate instead. Even without special soil, a single Wheat Grain plot can produce 20 counts of Straw, so you'll be swimming in it in no time.
