Believe it or not, Palworld first entered Early Access in January of 2024. Now, more than two years later, a handful of updates have brought new features, new locations, and new Pals. However, one Pal that's been around since the beginning of Palworld is the mighty Faleris. This phoenix-looking bird has had a few tweaks after 1.0, but our capture guide can tell you where to find it, how to breed it, its stats, and more.

Faleris Location in Palworld

Palworld Faleris Location screenshot Thanks to Palworld update 1.0, you won't find Faleris where it used to be. Now, this Pal appears exclusively within the World Tree. This area is an endgame zone, and it will take you a while to get there. When you do arrive, you'll find plenty of wild Faleris roaming the western portion of the World Tree around the coordinates -1942, 1327. These Faleris also spawn between levels 76 and 80. Interestingly, there is no Field Alpha Boss variant of Faleris. That means the only ones you're going to find in the wild are at the World Tree. Better get busy defeating those Tower Bosses!

Hatching Faleris (Breeding Guide)

Palworld Faleris Paldeck screenshot Or, if you don't want to wait until the endgame for a phoenix-feathered friend, you can try your hand at collecting and hatching a Huge Scorching Egg. These eggs can be found scattered around the Dessicated Desert and Mount Obsidian, and they have a randomized chance of hatching a Faleris or any of the following Pals:
  • Faleris
  • Blazehowl Noct
  • Blazamut
  • Suzaku
  • Knocklem Ignis
If you don't want to keep hunting down eggs to get your Faleris, you can try making an egg of your own with a Breeding Farm. If you use the right pair of Pals, you can guarantee a Faleris will hatch. However, there are only two Pal pairings that will give you a Faleris:
  • Vanwyrm & Anubis
  • Faleris & Faleris
Obviously, using a Faleris and Faleris won't help you get your first Faleris. Luckily, Vanywyrm and Anubis aren't too rare as far as wandering Pals go. Vanwyrms tend to wander Mount Obsidian, while Anubis can be found in the desert. You might as well gather Huge Scorching Eggs as you go looking for these Pals. Who knows? You might end up with more than one Faleris for your trouble!

How to Defeat and Capture Faleris in Palworld

Palworld Faleris Flying screenshot Fighting Fire Pals can be tricky since they're strong against both Ice and Grass Pals. However, you will have an advantage yourself if you've got some Water Pals, and that's an element that's in large supply across the Palpagos Islands. When it comes to fighting any flying Pal, you'll have a much easier time if you prioritize ranged weaponry. Faleris will stick to the skies while throwing some ranged attacks of its own your way. However, some of its skills make this fight trickier than average fliers. For starters, its exclusive skills, Phoenix Flare and Raging Flame Wave, see it charging toward you in an angry blaze of fire. These moves hit hard and fast, and Raging Flame Wave comes with the added danger of a circle of tornadoes appearing around you. If that wasn't enough, the move Ignis Rage will also make spots on the ground into ticking time bombs of fire. Dodging attacks and staying mobile is always crucial to battle in Palworld. However, Faleris is one Pal where you'll need to be especially aware of its arena-covering attacks. If you have a flying mount that you can hop aboard, it will make avoiding some of these attacks much easier. An Azurobe can be a hugely helpful Pal in this fight as it causes your attacks to deal Water damage while mounted.
