8. Rockyland

As its name implies, the Rockyland biome is a haven for rocks. In particular, this place is abundant in Boulders, Gold Veins, Flints, and, of course, Rocks. Crows are also likely to spawn here, which can be ideal for farming Morsels and Jet Feathers. The Rockyland may also spawn other gathering spots, namely Spider Dens and Tallbird Nests. Sometimes, some Gold Nugget and Mini Glacier deposits can also appear. Although rare, Sinkholes, Worm Holes, and Walrus Camps may also appear in this biome. But be wary as the Rockyland is a harsh environment. It doesn’t have the necessary resources to help maintain food, such as berries and vegetables. So, considering this spot as a campsite typically requires a player to rely on hunting, fishing, and/or farming for sustenance.

7. Sunken Forest

Explore deep within the Caves in Don’t Starve Together, and you may come across the Sunken Forest. This biome is a safe haven for weary players since hostile mobs don't naturally spawn here. Here, players can farm for various resources, particularly Logs, Pine Cones, and Cut Grass. Occasionally, you may find other resource-gathering spots like Berry Bushes and Spider Dens. However, the Sunken Forest biome generally has a small area. So, building space is more limited than what you’d normally get from other biomes in Don’t Starve Together. Additionally, light isn't abundant in this biome unless you craft and place light sources.

6. Forest

Don’t confuse the Forest biome with the Sunken Forest. This surface world location is lush with various trees, bushes, and other plants. Build a base in this biome to farm resources from Evergreen, Lumpy Evergreen, and Saplings. Occasionally, you can also acquire other items from nodes that may spawn frequently, including Rocks and Graves. But be wary, for the Forest is home to other creatures, both hostile and not. Prepare yourself to defend against some of The Constant’s horrors when nighttime comes while you’re in this biome. Also, be careful when using Fire attacks, especially from Willow. The nearby plant life is flammable, and accidental wildfires may cause unnecessary damage.

5. Deciduous Forest

Another biome filled with lush greenery is the Deciduous Forest. It’s the home of the Birchnut Tree, allowing players to farm its resources. You can also find Saplings and Crows in this location. Plus, Redbirds generally flock to this location, which you can farm for their Crimson Feathers. Other resources are also available in the Deciduous Forest, such as Mushrooms, Fish from nearby ponds, and Rabbits from Rabbit Holes. The Pig King may also spawn in this biome, albeit rarely. However, stay alert at night when camping in this biome. The Deciduous Forest can be a visiting hub for nighttime creatures, including spiders and were-beings. Additionally, this Forest might not be an ideal place to stay during autumn, as the Birchnut Trees aren’t as healthy, reducing their farmable loot.

4. Oasis Desert

Like other biomes in Don't Starve Together, the Oasis Desert offers players unique advantages, challenges, and drawbacks. First, this place is immune to wildfires, even in the summer. This miniature paradise also typically has a small pond where you can catch fish. Tumbleweeds also spawn fairly frequently in this location. Destroying these florae gives the chance to drop random items, including valuable gems. This place can also be a great farming spot for specific resources, thanks to the abundance of Spiky Trees, Cacti, and Crows. However, it's advisable not to visit this biome during the summer unless you want to tango with the Antlion boss.

3. Swamps

Also called the Marshes, the Swamps are one of the most dangerous biomes in Don’t Starve Together. It’s inhospitable and may eat any newcomer to The Constant alive. For instance, defeat the Tentacles that spawn to farm items like Monster Meat, Tentacle Spike, and Tentacle Spots. Spider Dens are also abundant in Swamps, which can spawn Spiders if left alone. 2. Savanna

Additionally, the Savanna biome is large, making it ideal to make large camps and bases. You’ll also typically find Beefalos spawning here, which can be great if you want to tame them. However, this place doesn’t spawn Trees and Saplings, posing disadvantages to players looking for Logs. Also, it lacks natural defenses, so enemies may attack you from different directions.
