Any good Viking loves an axe or a sword, but there's nothing wrong with a bit of Eitr magic now and then, either. With Valheim 1.0, four new staffs have been added. Each one offers a magical boost to your offensive prowess that should help you blast any monster back to the Helheim it crawled out of. Here, we'll cover every staff added with Valheim 1.0, their stats, and how to get your hands on their crafting recipes.

How to Find Staff Molds in Valheim

All four of the new staffs are only obtainable if you've been to the new Valheim 1.0 biome: the Deep North. However, you won't find the staffs in these frigid lands. Instead, you'll find their molds. These molds are found deep underground in the Deep North's winding tunnels dungeons. You can find these by looking for large pits in the ground. Head into them, and you'll be led into twisting passageways with chests, enemies, and, hopefully, molds for the new staffs. These are the four staff molds that you can find:

• Mold: Lightning Strike
• Mold: Northern Vengeance
• Mold: Echo Spike
• Mold: Spirit Caller

Once you have these molds, you'll need to combine them with specific ingredients at a new Galdr Table. Doing that, however, won't give you the final staff either. Instead, this will allow you to craft a cast of the staff. With that in hand, you then need to use a new station called a Frost Foundry. Place your cast into the Frost Foundry, fuel the foundry with Liquid Frost produced by a Frost Kiln, and you'll finally have a new staff to call your own!
