Stardew Valley Pam Gift Guide: Loves, Likes, Hates, and Heart Events
Publicado el por
Unravel the mystery behind Pam and her gruff exterior in Stardew Valley through this gift guide. Befriend the resilient bus driver by understanding her preferred gifts and the heartfelt moments they unlock. Explore her unique and heartfelt story as you progress, making the right decisions along the way.
Pam is one of the many NPCs who call Pelican Town their home. Residing in a modest home by the river, this non-marriageable character presents herself with a rough exterior. Interacting with her may catch some players off guard, as she talks with a blunt, cynical edge.
The days in Stardew Valley see Pam following a relatively predictable routine. For instance, you'll catch her at the bus station, ready and waiting to send you to Calico Desert if needed (after repairing the Bus Station). However, beneath the surface lies a character shaped by hardship.
In truth, Pam struggles with many endeavors, and alcohol is one of them. Despite her hardships, she possesses a dry wit and surprising warmth that players can gradually uncover as they increase her friendship level.
As with most Stardew Valley NPCs, players can gift Pam a maximum of two items per week. Giving an extra gift is possible during this NPC’s birthday in Spring 18.
Watch out for Pam's different reactions when she is presented with items to gauge whether she loves, likes, or hates them. The replies to pay attention to are the following:
Consistently giving Pam her preferred gifts increases her friendship level. Doing so triggers heart events, which start showing at Friendship Level 3, indicated beside her icon in the Social tab.

Pam's Heart Events
Consistently giving Pam her preferred gifts increases her friendship level. Doing so triggers heart events, which start showing at Friendship Level 3, indicated beside her icon in the Social tab.
Three-Heart Event
Pam’s three-heart event is relatively straightforward. After reaching three hearts for her friendship level, she’ll send you a recipe for Cheese Cauliflower in the mail. Receive the recipe to complete this instance.Seven-Heart Event
Pam sends you another recipe in the mail upon reaching seven hearts for her friendship level. This time, it’s for Stuffing. Again, receive the recipe to complete this instance.Nine-Heart Event
Triggering Pam’s nine-heart event (introduced in Update 1.3.27) requires you to purchase the “Community Upgrade” from the Carpenter’s Shop. Once completed, wait at least four days before visiting Pam in her home. Here, you’ll find Pam praying, confessing about returning to her old habits despite moving to a new home. After noticing that you’ve been listening to her private moment, she’ll turn to you, which then requires you to respond with one of two options:- No Effect: “I’m glad you’re feeling hopeful.”
- -1,000 Friendship: “Sorry Pam, but Yoba isn’t real…”
