Progressing through V Rising requires vampires to gather different resources and use those items to craft various equipment. One notable example is Pollen, which players must farm to make another vital resource. With that, here's what you should know about how to farm Pollen in V Rising.

What is Pollen in V Rising?

Pollen is one of the many essential resources in V Rising. Players can gather 20x to 30x Pollen for each Mantrap defeated in the Farbane Woods. Farming a sufficient amount of Pollen is ideal to progress through the game, as it’s an essential ingredient to craft another resource, leading to powerful gear.

Farming Pollen in V Rising

Pollen is an occasional drop from gathering flowers across Vardoran. Alternatively, vampires can use the Grinder or Advanced Grinder to farm this resource. In particular, grind any 20 units of various flora (15 units if the Grinder or Advanced Grinder is in an enclosed room with the Workshop Floor as its flooring) in V Rising to acquire 10x Pollen. The plants you can use for this operation are the following:

• Blood Rose: Dropped from Mantraps or found in various locations in the Gleaming Meadows in Farbane Woods.
• Fire Blossom: Found in multiple locations in the Gleaming Meadows and Bandit Sulphur Quarry in Farbane Woods.
• Snow Flower: Found in multiple locations in Farbane Woods, Dunley Farmlands, and Silverlight Hills.
• Mourning Lily: Dropped from Mantraps or found in graveyards across Vardoran.
• Hell’s Carion: Dropped from Mantraps or found in various locations in the Bear Cave, Bandit Copper Mine, and Haunted Iron Mine in Farbane Woods.
• Ghost Shroom: Dropped from Witches or found in various locations in the Cursed Forest, particularly in the Lair of the Behemoth.
• Sunflower: Found in cotton farms in the Dunley Farmlands.
• Cotton: Found in cotton farms in the Dunley Farmlands.
• Plague Brier: Found in various locations in Gloomrot South.
• Bleeding Heart: Found in various locations in the Ruins of Mortium.
• Corrupted Flower: Found in various locations in the Oakveil Woodlands.

Pollen Crafting Recipes

As of Update 1.1, Pollen is an ingredient for one crafting recipe: the Coarse Thread. In particular, players must use 12x Plant Fibre and 16x Pollen at the Loom or Advanced Loom to craft 1x Coarse Thread. Note that the amount of Plant Fibre and Pollen required is reduced when the Loom or Advanced Loom is in an enclosed room with the Tailor’s Floor for the flooring.
