Step-by-Step Guide: How to Transfer Your Palworld Server

• 1. Stop your current server to ensure all recent player progress has been written to disk.
• 2. Download the world save file from the following path in the desired server: Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0. Note that some server providers may require an SFTP Client to access the file. Extract the save file to an empty folder if it’s zipped.
• 3. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel and start the server once so that Palworld generates the required save directories.
• 4. Wait for the server to finish startup, then stop it.
• 5. Head to the Files tab, and navigate to the following path: /home/Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0.
• 6. Right-click the Palworld world folder, and press Delete. WARNING: Ensure that you’ve backed up this folder before deleting it, as the data is permanently lost if something goes wrong.
• 7. Upload the downloaded world file from Step 1, and copy the folder’s name, which is your World's Save ID that tells Palworld which save directory to load.
