The first SCP mod that is a must-try contains none other than SCP-280, Eyes in the Dark. A shadowy humanoid amalgamation that watches from the darkness with glowing eyes. When encountered, the safest thing to do is find or
create light. Both harm 280. However, should it instead find you alone in the dark, chances are spawn is the next destination. Don’t go out at night. Don’t look out the window. Walls can not stop 280.
4: SCP-079: The Old AI
Found sealed below ground in a brand-new structure exclusive to the mod, SCP-079, The Old AI, is a computer block that can interact with its surrounding environment in two separate ways. The first is its ability to mess with
redstone, causing it to malfunction and act oddly. The second and much more frightening ability of 079 is its ability to appear in players’ minds, causing jump scares. Only by locating the compound and disconnecting the power to 079 can it be stopped. After that, 079 can be destroyed or brought back home as a decorative block where it will await the day it is powered once more.
3: SCP-173: The Sculpture
One blink is all it takes for SCP-173, the sculpture, to catch those whom it has spotted. A terrifying feature Zcoper has perfectly recreated within Minecraft for those who add this mod. Just like within its lore,173 can not move so long as someone is watching it. During this frozen state, it can even be
destroyed with a pickaxe. However, one blink or glance away is all it takes for 173 to regain the upper hand and rapidly travel vast distances.
2: SCP-096: The Shy Guy
SCP-096, The Shy Guy, makes its presence known with haunting cries, but under no circumstance should anyone look over to see the source. If this rule is broken, 096 enters a state of screaming rage as it sprints madly towards whoever saw it. The only hope after that is escaping by running. A feat easier said than done. 096 is nearly impossible to kill, can climb walls, and even break blocks. The end result is a horrifying chase with the sole goal of running out the clock.
